This dissertation is on the studies of synthesis of Lycopodine and Kermadecin E.There are three parts of this dissertation Chapter 1: Synthetic approaches towards alkaloids bearing ?-tertiary aminesSynthetic work of alkaloids containing ?-tertiary amines are reviewed.Chapter 2: The studies of total synthesis of lycopodineThe progress in synthesis and the background of lycopodine after its structural elucidation.Then we designed a new route with N-Prins reaction as key step tomake some exploratory studies about the asymmetric synthetic of lycopodine.Chapter 3: The studies of total synthesis of Kermadecin EThe previous synthetic strategy of turriane family were described.We designed a strategy contained Heck cross coupling reaction and oxidative coupling to attempt the new route of total synthesis of Kermadecin E.
