Status And Development Trend Of Liancheng Sweet Potato's Processing Industry And Technology

Liancheng,richly endowed by nature with favorable water,air and soil,as a result abounds in red heart sweet potato has been honored as"The Hometown of Dried Sweet Potato in China" by Ministry of Agriculture.The county's cultivated area of sweet potato is up to 120000 mu,and the production of fresh sweet potato is more than 300000 tons.Therefore,developing the dried sweet potato processing industry is an important way to improve the economic effectiveness of local sweet potato industry,increase farmers'income,so as to accelerate the county's economic growth and social development.In recent years,the dried sweet potato industry is presenting a good trend,which has high starting point,quick development speed and good economic and social benefits.However,in contrast with the whole food industry of Fujian Province,there still has many bottleneck problem which may affect its stable and sustainable development.In this thesis,combine with methods of field survey,literature research,questionnaire survey,related employees interview survey and statistics analysis,we would conduct a system analysis on the processing technology,development situation,existing problems and formation reasons of the dried sweet potato industry.Through both quantitative and qualitative analysis,the thesis would link theory with practice,put forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the sustainable development of the dried sweet potato industry.The main conclusion of the thesis are:i.The main features of Liancheng sweet potato industry current situation presents as follows:the industry scale expands unceasingly,the processing production become factorial and standardized,gross value and added value of industrial output over the scale increase rapidly,profitability improves,industry investment continue to grow,research input is still too low,etc.ii.Suggestions is put forward base on the research results:attach importance on the cultivation industry of sweet potato,speeding up innovation transformation,cultivating and strengthen local leading enterprises,grasping the market demand and changes accurately,optimizing the structure of food industry,promoting resource optimizing configuration,encouraging business model innovation,implementing creative personnel policy,enhancing industry funds security.
