Low porosity and permeability fractured reservoirs distribute widely in China,its reserves accounted for about one-third of the total proved reserves.Dabei and Keshen gas field have over billions cubic meters of gas in Kuqa of the Tarim Basin.Reservoir properties in the region are fractured sandstone characteristics and the fractures develop highly.Through statistical analysis and logging technology of the fracture parameters,we found fractures have an important influence on the permeability and productivity.Therefore,to clarify the type and distribution of the low porosity and permeability gas reservoir and the quantitative description of the relationship between fractures and capacity in Kuqa has practical significance to the oil and gas exploration and development.This paper calculated the fracture parameters in Kuqa by core testing and imaging well logging,and established a fracture parameters quantitation database.Based on the quantitative description of the fracture parameters,the paper has analyzed the fracture development characteristics and distribution patterns.Considering the characteristics of low porosity sandstone gas reservoirs and numerical test interpretation method,we decomposed the fractured sandstone system skin factor,and then,converted the bottom hole pressure by using the wellhead data,meanwhile,established a well fracturing numerical model.Finally,this paper proposed the capacity factor concepts and formulas,as well as two types of fracture production forecasting model by describing clearly the fracture parameters in Kuqa area,and carried out same research programs with related examples.The results could provide theoretical guidance for drilling and mining engineering for the fractured sandstone gas reservoirs in Kuqa.
