Ethanol is a renewable clean energy. It has attracted people's attention as oil alternative resources. It has a wider application prospect.During the manufacturing of ethanol, some by-products are generated and separated. We should consider to use two approaches, the direct treatment and resource utilization respectively to be combined to recycle valuable components. It not only solves environmental pollution, but also generates additional economic benefits.Currently, the study of fermenting ethanol production with immobilized cells is still at a high speed.People seek breakthroughs in all aspects, and are committed to solving the problems of low efficiency and low production of ethanol produced by fermentation. In order to improve the fermentation efficiency of the strain, the subject used the immobilized cell fermentation technology to produce ethanol.Through the experiment of single factor and the response surface design approach, two aspects of ethanol fermentation are considered when designing the experiment, the single factor and the multiply factors respectively.Through the experiments to make the production of ethanol by immobilized cell fermentation,we studied the fermentation technology of S.cerevisiae immobilized in calcium alginate gel.And the fermentation process is optimized.Different fermentation conditions are adopted in the experiment, and the corresponding fermentation results are compared with each other.Through this method, the optimal fermentation condition is determined.Through the experiment of single factor, the fermentation effect of the free strains and the immobilized strains are compared with each other. And the impact factors of ethanol are determined. The optimal fermentation condition is also determined preliminarily.Through the response surface formulation, the fermentation condition is optimized further. The optimal fermentation condition and the yield of ethanol is determined. The result of the study shows that the fermentation effect of the immobilized strains is better than the free strains. The benefits of using the immobilized strains not only reduce the fermentation period effectively, and also greatly reduce the consumption of resources and improve the production efficiency.Single factor experiments showed that the optimal period of fermentation by immobilized strains is 24 hours, the optimal temperature is 30?,the optimal initial p H is 5.0,and the most suitable initial concentration of glucose is 90g/L.The yield of ethanol can reach up to 40%.After that, the response surface approach is used to make a multiply factor analysis, the results are optimized. The optimal fermentation condition is determined. When the p H is adjusted to 5.7 and the concentration of glucose is adjusted to 86.6g/L,the predicted maximum yield of ethanol is 13.89g/L after 33 hours of fermentation.
