The slag wool can be prepared from blast furnace slag tempered by iron tailings,which not only improves the added value of products,but also makes full use of the sensible heat of blast furnace slag.At present,the direct fibrillation process of quenched and tempered blast furnace slag has not been industrialized,mainly due to the homogenization of blast furnace slag,on-line temperature control and other aspects still need a lot of basic research.In the process of quenching and tempering blast furnace slag with cold iron tailings,the temperature of slag system decreases and the heterogeneity increases,which affect the quality of slag cotton.Therefore,based on the melting temperature of quenched and tempered slag,factsage7.0 is used to simulate and analyze the heat required for Quenched and tempered slag,in order to achieve the appropriate blowing temperature.The results show that when the ratio of iron tailings is less than 11%,the slag system does not need additional heat.When the slag temperature increases by 50 degrees,the ratio of iron tailings can be increased by about 1.5%.Based on the viscosity characteristics of slag,a coordinated control diagram of temperature and iron tailings ratio was established.Homogenization includes two processes:dissolution and diffusion.The dissolution kinetics of quenched and tempered agents in blast furnace slag was studied by in-situ observation.The results showed that the slag temperature increased from 1460?to 1480?,and the dissolution rate of Si O2 increased by more than 3 times.The particles are completely immersed in molten slag,which can increase the dissolution rate.The more complex the particle shape is,the larger the fractal dimension is,and the faster the dissolution rate is.Finally,the dissolution kinetics equation of Si O2 in high temperature molten slag is obtained.The main factors affecting the dissolution and homogenization of iron tailings were studied.Based on FLUENT simulation,the convective heat transfer criterion equation was calculated,and then two significant parameters,stirring intensity of molten pool and particle size of iron tailings,were determined.Homogenizing hot experiments are based on the composition and viscosity of each location of the quenched and tempered slag as the basis for homogenization.The stirring speed is increased from static to 50r/min,the homogenization time is reduced from 120 min to 25 min,and the homogenization time is not obviously shortened when the stirring speed is increased again.The size of iron tailings exceeds 1.5cm and the homogenization time increases rapidly.The granularity should be controlled less than 1.5cm.Figure80;Table16;Reference 53...
