Research Of The Structure And Regulation Of Qing Dynasty’s Padded Armor

The Qing Dynasty founded the country by its excellent martial arts.Therefore,the military uniform has a great significance in Qing Dynasty.In the military system of Qing Dynasty,"the padded armor" was its important branch.It is not only the ceremonial uniform worn by the Eight Banners soldiers at the major military ceremonies of Qing Dynasty,but also the actual combat armor of the Manchuria generals in the battlefield.In this paper,mainly based on the padded armor specimens from the early,middle and late periods of Qing Dynasty.For the research method,this paper used dual evidence method and image research method to restore the structure and regulation of padded armor in Qing Dynasty from various angles and in an all-round way.By researching the information of padded armor specimens,the structure chart of padded armor evolution in Qing Dynasty and the regulation system of differentiating grades were summarized.Then we know that the different emphases of etiquette and warfare of padded armor in different historical periods are closely related to the prosperity and decline of Qing Dynasty.Therefore,it can be concluded that the evolution history of padded armor is not only the material evidence of the rise and fall of Qing Dynasty,but also the historical material of the integration of Manchu and Han cultures.In this paper,the work of centralized and meticulous information collection and subsequent argument extraction of padded armor in Qing Dynasty not only perfects the structure system of Chinese traditional costumes,but also makes textual research on its structure and regulation based on padded armor of Qing Dynasty.From the perspective of costume evolution,it witnessed the rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty and has profoundly confirmed the political significance of"National events,Sacrifices and military".It not only broadens a new angle for the study of traditional costumes,but also plays an important role in the reaearch of military and cultural history of Qing Dynasty.
