As a short process technology,strip casting technology is not only high-efficiency,energy-saving and environmental,but also the most challenging technology in steel industry.Combination of strip casting,hot rolling and warm rolling provides a practicable scheme for difficult-to-deform material production,and temperature is the most important parameter in this technology.Then,based on this technology,research project of strip casting has been carried out by The State Key Lab of Rolling and Automation(RAL).This paper is focused on temperature model of hot rolling and warm rolling process after strip casting.The Main contents are as follows:(1)The technological equipment and process of strip casting experimental unit,relied by this paper are introduced.A set of strip casting machines connecting with a set of warm-rolling machines is used for high silicon strip casting,hot-rolling and worm-rolling process.The principles of heat transfer are acquired,such as:basic modes of heat transfer,differential equation of heat conduction of rectangular coordinate system and cylindrical coordinate system,and the finite difference theory solution.(2)Basing on the basic theory of temperature calculation,the hot-rolling,warm-rolling process of casting strip is simplified and the temperature models such as air cooling model,transportation temperature model,rolling temperature model and coiling box temperature model are built.The transportation temperature model is built based on air cooling model and improving the heat-transfer-coefficient(HTC)of strip's lower surface;the rolling temperature model is built considering the influence of velocity and rolling force;and the coiling box temperature model is built by improving equivalent thermal conductivity.(3)The temperature calculation system for the strip casting experimental unit is designed and the program is developed with VS2008 software.All the temperature calculation models and dynamic demonstration functions are realized.(4)The actual temperature measurement experiments are carried out,and correction factors are regressed with actual temperature data for improving model calculation accuracy.The actual temperature of transport process is obtained with transport roller contact cooling experiment.A new method is designed to measure the strip temperature of rolling deformed area.And coiling box temperature is measured with coiling box heating experiment.With experimental actual temperature data,the correction factors for the conveying,rolling and coiling box heating process are regressed,and the temperature calculation deviation is withiną6?.
