With the development of our country's society and economy,the sales volume and production of automobiles have also increased year by year.The use of a large number of petrol vehicles will cause a series of problems such as energy consumption and environmental pollution.lots of scientific studies have shown that vehicle weight reduction can effectively reduce fuel consumption and pollution,which is an important measure to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.Using lightweight materials such as aluminum alloys,magnesium alloys,and carbon fibers in the body structure is a valid way to achieve automotive light weighting.Carbon fiber reinforced composite material(CFRP)is a new type of composite material,which is widely used in modern industry.The tensile strength and elastic modulus of carbon fiber reinforced composites are excellent,and the strength can reach ten times that of ordinary steels.These excellent properties make carbon fiber reinforced composites play a significant role in automotive lightweight applications.CFRP material is used to reinforce and strengthen steel plates in industry.However,in practical applications,fiber failures and interface peeling often occur between CFRP materials and steel plates.Therefore,it is necessary to research the interface properties and failure modes of CFRP-Steel material.In this paper,CFRP-Steel materials are prepared by hot stamping.The effects of quenching and holding time during hot stamping experiments and the number of layers of CFRP materials on the bending performance of structural parts are studied.The results show that the optimal temperature for the combination of steel and CFRP is 200 ?-210 ?.In the three-point bending performance test experiment,the bending performance of the steel plate pasted with CFPR was significantly stronger than that of the steel plate not pasted,and the maximum load was increased by an average of 9.76%.The sample with the best bending performance is that with a quenching time of 20 s.The maximum load of this sample is 1747 N.At the same time,the influence of the number of layers of CFRP materials on the bending performance was investigated,and it was found that the four-layer CFRP material did not significantly improve the maximum load compared with the two-layer CFRP material,but it could significantly increase the maximum displacement of the material.In this paper,the ABAQUS finite element software is used to simulate the three-point bending process of CFRP-Steel materials.The order of the difficulty of damage in CFRPSteel materials is as follows(From easy to hard): Carbon fiber,bonding interface,steel.This shows that the ability of the bonding interface in CFRP-Steel materials to resist damage is stronger than CFRP materials.Also found that the 90 ° stacking method has the strongest resistance to bending deformation.At the same time,the numerical simulation results are basically consistent with the experimental results,which illustrates the reliability of the previous experimental results and the applicability of the finite element simulation method.
