Poly(ether-ether-ketone)(PEEK)materials can replace traditional materials in many special fields,such as shape memory alloys in the aerospace field and bones in the biomedical field,because of their advantages of high temperature resistance,high strength mechanical properties,good biocompatibility,and shape memory performance.At present,most of the research on PEEK materials focuses on improving the printing molding accuracy by selecting appropriate heat treatment conditions,or using the material's own properties as the starting point to improve its shape memory performance through chemical modification;but the combination of material manufacturing technology and its shape memory performance is still rarely involved.In this paper,the additive manufacturing technology of PEEK materials is combined with its shape memory performance,and the effect of temperature on its shape memory performance in the process of shape memory polymer additive manufacturing is systematically studied in order to control temperature and further to achieve the purpose of shape control of PEEK materials.Firstly,this paper investigated the effects of nozzle temperature and substrate temperature on the shape memory properties of PEEK during additive manufacturing.And the research found that the nozzle temperature does not significantly improve its shape memory performance,but a suitable nozzle temperature can improve the molding accuracy of the material;and as the substrate temperature increases,its shape memory performance will be improved(the maximum fixation rate is about 99%,with a maximum response rate of about88%).At the same time,the effect of the substrate temperature on the temperature distribution of the PEEK sample was studied by using COMSOL simulation.As the result,the optimal setting range of the substrate was 165?-170?.Secondly,the effect of post-heat treatment on the shape memory properties of PEEK was studied.And the research found that the annealing process significantly improved the shape memory performance of PEEK.At the same time,in the exploration of the annealing temperature,it was found that when the thermal annealing temperature was higher than the glass transition temperature of the material,the shape memory performance of the material improved significantly.In short,this paper studies the influence of nozzle temperature,substrate temperature,and post-additional heat treatment conditions on shape memory performance in PEEK additive manufacturing,and explores the mapping relationship between different substrate temperatures and shape memory performance.Further,the shape recovery rate of the PEEK can be adjusted by adjusting the temperature of the substrate,so as to achieve the shape controllability of the shape memory polymer produced by the additive.
