In recent years,with the continuous development of the automobile industry,automobile lightweight has been one of the main development themes of the automobile industry.Lightweight of automotive materials is one of the main ways to achieve lightweight of automobiles.Jute fiber-reinforced polypropylene composites(JF / PP)are inexpensive,lightweight,have excellent mechanical properties,and have ob vious sound absorption and noise reduction effects.They are widely used as a new type of composite material in today's automotive interior parts.In this paper,natural jute fiber is used as a matrix reinforcement material and modified.The thermal stabil ity of jute fiber before and after modification is analyzed.The micro-changes and mechanism of surface modification of jute fiber are discussed.Excellent performance JF / PP composite for automotive use.The changes in mechanical properties and sound absorption coefficients of different jute fiber mass contents were compared,and the comparison of the mechanical properties and sound absorption coefficient properties of JF / PP composites before and after hemp fiber modification under the same jute fiber mass contents.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)The hemp fiber hydroxyl value measurement,contact angle test,and thermogravimetric analysis were performed on the hemp fibers before and after the amino silicone oil treatment,and the results showed that the jute fibers modified with the amino silicone oil had a 64.4% reduction in hydroxyl groups,and the hemp fiber modified The front contact angle is 0° and the modified contact angle is 126°.The hemp fiber is changed from water-absorbing to hydrophobic.When the weight loss rate of hemp fiber is 5%,the weight loss temperature of untreated jute fiber is 95.4 ?,while the weight loss temperature of hemp fiber treated with amino silicone oil is 256.2?,and the temperature of weight loss before and after hemp fiber modification is 276.8?.After being treated with amino silicone oil at 287.8?,the jute fiber can effectively improve the thermal stability of the jute fiber reinforced polypropylene composite material during the preparation process.(2)Tensile bending mechanical properties test and sound absorption coefficient test were carried out for jute fiber reinforced polypropylene body composite material plates with different jute fiber content,and the tensile bending perfo rmance and sound absorption coefficient of composite plate with different jute fiber content were obtained..The results show that the mechanical properties such as flexural strength and tensile strength of JF / PP composites are higher than those of pure polypropylene materials,and increase with the increase of fiber content.The modified JF / PP composites have a higher ratio than the unmodified ones.The tensile properties of JF /PP composite materials at 5wt%,10wt%,15wt%,and 20wt% were increased b y 16.7%,18.0%,23.8%,27.3%,and the bending strength was increased by 8.0%,12.0%,13.3%,15.2 %.At the fiber content of 20wt%,the tensile strength of JF / PP before and after modification was increased by 29.4% and 64.7%,respectively.The flexural st rength increased by 32.1% and 52.2%,respectively.(3)The sound absorption coefficient test of the impedance tube shows that the sound absorption coefficient of JF / PP composites increases with the increase of fiber content.When jute fibers account for 20wt% of the mass of JF / PP composites,hemp fibers pass through amino silicone oil The average sound absorption coefficients of the injection-molded composite materials before and after modification were 0.35 and 0.4435,respectively,which were 71.6% and 120% higher than those of pure polypropylene matrix materials,respectively.And the sound absorption coefficient of the modified JF / PP composite material is significantly improved.
