The quality of cigarette filter rod adhesives directly determines the quality of filter rod products in the tobacco industry.At present,the quality inspection of cigarette filter rods mainly uses manual visual inspection,which has problems such as high inspection cost,high labor intensity,and uneven inspection standards,which seriously affect the production efficiency of enterprises.Machine vision technology has the advantages of non-contact,omnidirectional,high precision and high speed.In this paper,the research on the adhesive quality detection system of cigarette forming paper based on machine vision is carried out.Machine vision technology is used to replace traditional manual detection to improve the production of filter rods in the tobacco industry.Quality and production efficiency,to achieve better economic benefits for enterprises.In this paper,based on the surface characteristics and optical characteristics of cigarette forming paper,a target detection imaging scheme and a system detection platform are designed to collect adhesive image data of cigarette forming paper in real time,and a visual inspection and measurement algorithm for adhesive quality of cigarette forming paper is proposed.The quality of the adhesive for cigarette forming paper is analyzed in real time by the industrial computer,and the defective products are eliminated in real time.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:(1)Introduce the research background and significance of this topic,outline the research significance of industrial intelligent manufacturing combined with machine vision,and the actual demand for visual inspection in the tobacco industry.The research status analysis is carried out from the technical aspects of gum detection,machine vision,image processing and so on.(2)Aiming at the needs of the actual production line,an overall plan for the adhesive quality visual inspection system of cigarette forming paper is proposed.Introduces the research object of this article,analyzes its testing s tandards,testing indicators and system performance indicators,and details the design of the system hardware platform,software platform,electrical control and other three parts.The hardware platform design includes the hardware platform design scheme a nd key equipment selection.The design,software platform design includes human-computer interaction interface and system database design,electrical control design includes the circuit design of the electrical control part of the communication between the upper computer and the lower computer.(3)Achieve the calibration of the adhesive quality visual inspection system of cigarette forming paper.The camera calibration of the system is an important step in machine vision detection and machine vision measur ement.The relationship between the image coordinate system and the actual physical coordinate system is obtained through camera calibration.(4)The visual inspection algorithm of adhesive quality of cigarette forming paper is studied.Aiming at the phenomenon of uneven illumination on the surface of cigarette forming paper,a uniform illumination algorithm based on the lighting model is proposed.The Lambert lighting model is established to solve the effect of the uneven image quality on the surface of th e cigarette forming paper due to uneven illumination.After the original image is uniformly illuminated,bilateral filtering is used to further reduce the impact of external noise on the boundary extraction of the forming paper.The two-dimensional maximum entropy segmentation is used to extract the ROI.Finally,the ROI cigarette forming paper is combined with the morphological analysis and connected domain search method.Part of the adhesive is positioned and measured.Experimental results show that the d esigned visual inspection algorithm can accurately achieve the quality inspection of adhesives.(5)Development and realization of a visual inspection system for adhesive quality of cigarette forming paper.The specific implementation of hardware and software systems is introduced.Online testing proves that the developed visual inspection system can meet the actual production needs and inspection requirements.
