Coordination polymers(Cps),as a novel multifunctional material, have attracted wide attention from researchers. They not only have various interesting structures and topologies, but also have great application potential in many fields such as adsorption and separation, catalysis, ion exchange and chiral properties in gases and organic molecules, electromagnetic, fluorescence recognition and nonlinear optics. The choice of appropriate organic ligands is very important for the synthesis and structure of Cps,because Cps are obtained from the combination of metal and organic ligands. The influencing factors of the structure of Cps are various such as the length of ligands, the type and number and location of coordination atoms contained in ligands, rigidity and flexibility of the nature of ligands, and non-coordinating groups contained in ligands as well as the use of auxiliary ligands. In this work, rigid polycarboxylic acid compounds 2-amino-terephthalic acid and5-amino-isophthalic as the primary ligands, and three N-compounds as the co-ligands react with Zn,Cd and Co salts to obtain four novel Cps in the solvothermal method. At the same time,an aromatic Schiff base compound was designed and synthesized, and further was reduced to obtain compound 2-((pyridine-4-methylene)amino)terephthalic acid(H3L3).Using the solvothermal and stirring method as well as the method of recrystallization,H3L3as a ligand react with transition and rare earth metal salts to obtain seven novel Cps.Finally, the structures of eleven Cps were characterized, and their related properties were studied. The specific research contents of this work are as follows:1.2-amino-terephthalic acid and 5-amino-isophthalic as the primary ligands,and3,6-bis(imidazole-1-yl)pyridazine(L1),3,6-bis(benzimidazole-1-yl)pyridazine(L2),2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid as the co-ligands react with Zn,Cd and Co salts in the solvothermal method to obtain four novel Cps{[Mn(2-AIOC)(L2)2(H2O)]}n(1),{[Zn(2-AIOC)(L1)]·H2O}n(2),{[Co2O(5-AIPC)(2-PC)]}n(3)?{[Co2Cl2(2-PC)2(H2O)3]}n(4).The structures of the four complexes were analyzed separately, and further compared and discussed for the structures of 1 and 2,3 and 4.The phase purity and thermal stability of the complexes 1-4 were tested and analyzed. The fluorescent properties of 2 were studied. The magnetic properties of 1,3 and 4 were tested and discussed carefully.2.2-((pyridine-4-methylene)amino)terephthalic acid(H3L3)as a ligand reacted with transition and rare earth metal salts to obtain seven novel Cps based on the solvothermal and stirring method as well as the method of recrystallization,namely,{[Mn2(L3)3(H2O)]}n(5),{[Cd(L3)(H2O)2]}n(6),{[Cu(L3)(H2O)3]·2H2O}n(7),{[Cu(L3)(H2O)]}n(8),{[Ho(L3)(H2O)2]·0.36O}n(9),{[Eu(L3)(H2O)2]·2H2O·O}n(10),{[Ga(L3)(H2O)2]·O}n(11).The structures of the complexes 5-11 were analyzed separately, and further compared and discussed for the structures of 5-11.The phase purity of the complexes 5-8,10,11 and thermal stability of 5-8,10 were tested and analyzed. The fluorescence luminescence properties of 6,10 were studied and aslo found that complex 6 can identificated and detected aromatic nitro compounds. The magnetic properties of 5,7,8 and 11 were tested and discussed carefully.
