Glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material with good properties of insulation, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, etc. It is commonly used as a reinforcing material in composite materials, and is widely used in electrical insulating materials and thermal insulation materials, circuit substrates.Waiting for all areas of the national economy.Due to the smooth surface, low surface energy and poor bonding strength of the glass fiber, the glass fiber is coated with a surface treatment agent on the surface of the glass fiber to enhance the interfacial bonding strength of the glass fiber composite. The composite interface is the bridge between the bonded matrix and the reinforcement and the stress transfer, which determines the key factors of the composite properties. The interfacial adhesion properties of the glass fiber composite are closely related to the surface treatment agent.Peel test is a kind of characterization method widely used to test the bonding effect of adhesives. It has special test and test instruments and related standards. This paper proposes the application of peel test to the interface of glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composites.Bonding properties and theoretical analysis of its feasibility. The experimental research content of this paper is as follows:Firstly, according to the relevant literature and test standards of the peeling test, the glass fiber was selected as a rigid material to prepare a glass piece, and the prepared glass piece and the glass fiber raw material were surface-treated,and the glass piece and the glass fiber precursor before and after the process were processed. The surface characterizations were carried out by infrared spectroscopy, contact angle and SEM.The results show that the silicon and hydroxyl groups of the glass fiber and the glass fiber are both at 3727 cm-1 and 3433 cm-1,and the absorption peaks are obvious, and the results of infrared quantitative analysis are basically the same.Glass sheets can be used instead of glass fibers for the study of interfacial adhesion properties of composites;the contact angle of glass sheets before and after surface treatment is significantly increased, the surface hydroobicity is enhanced, and the compatibility with the resin is improved;after SEM observation, the surface treatment is observed. The surface roughness of the glass fiber and the glass piece becomes large.Next, the peeling test-related standard selected a bonded sample having a width of 25 mm.Therefore,a thermoplastic resin was used as a flexible material, and a high-density polyethylene or polypropylene was prepared into a sheet having a thickness of about 1 mm and a width of about 25 mm by an extruder. Finally, the surface of the glass piece is treated with a plurality of glass fiber sizing agents, and the treated glass piece and the resin sheet are subjected to compression molding at a suitable temperature and weight in an oven, and the peeling force test is tested by a peeling tester and characterized by SEM.The surface of the glass after peeling. The experimental results show that the sizing agent is selective, and the interfacial peeling force of the glass surface treated with the same sizing agent is very different from that of polyethylene and polypropylene resin. The sizing agent 909,909S treats the glass surface, glass and high density polyethylene. The peel strength of the resin was 22.9 N/(25 mm)and 29.8 N/(25 mm),respectively, and the peel strength with the polypropylene resin was 112.3 N/(25 mm)and 61.7 N/(25 mm),respectively, and the peeled glass was observed by SEM.The surface has obvious criss-crossing marks, which should be caused by the adhesion of resin to glass. Moreover, when the degree of bonding between the resin and the glass is too large, resin tearing may occur during the resin stripping process, and some of the resin remains on the surface of the glass or the crack of the glass surface is adhered by the resin, and the surface of the glass is destroyed, only between the two When the bond strength is moderate, the resin can be completely peeled off,and the interface damage occurs at the bond between the two.The peeling test characterizes the interfacial bonding performance of glass fiber/thermoplastic resin composites. It has certain operability and can obtain specific peeling strength, which directly reflects the strength of bonding between glass and glass fiber sizing agent and resin. It is still a lot of trials to establish it as an industry standard and guide the research and development and management of glass fiber sizing, but it has certain feasibility.
