With the deepening of oil and gas exploration and development,the accurate description of reservoir structure is an important basis to guide the later development of oil and gas fields in reservoir parameter evaluation and geological exploration.It is increasingly difficult to test and evaluate complex oil and gas reservoirs.Formation resistivity is a key index in reservoir description.Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional formation resistivity measurement methods,this paper studies a new resistivity measurement method with drilling based on potential method.This paper firstly introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the measurement method of formation resistivity and the exploration and measurement method based on potential method,and summarizes the development situation of the above research contents at home and abroad.Next,based on the basic theory of potential method,the theoretical research on the resistivity measurement method between wells is carried out,including the resistivity measurement model based on the potential method and the resistivity measurement method of layered medium,and the formation resistivity measurement model is established.Then,based on the finite element method,the forward simulation of the resistivity measurement while drilling system model is carried out by using COMSOL multiphysical field simulation software,which verifies the correctness of the measurement model and the necessity of the simulation model.The key parameters of the resistivity measurement system are simulated,analyzed and studied,and the key parameters of the measurement system are determined,which lays a theoretical foundation for guiding the development of measuring instruments.At the same time,the method of abnormal body boundary detection is studied,which plays a guiding role in using this method to detect the boundary of sand body,the range positioning of reservoir and other practical production problems in oil field,and expands the practical application of this method.Finally,the field test and analysis of resistivity while drilling are carried out to further verify the effectiveness of resistivity measurement method based on potential method.In engineering practice,it is beneficial to guide the formation of construction norms for field measurement,supporting technological process,and accelerate the process of field application of this method.This study can provide reference for the future development of related technologies and the development and engineering application of instruments and equipment,broaden the channels to obtain formation resistivity information for the further high-quality and efficient development of oil and gas fields,and provide solutions and design ideas for practical production problems such as reservoir connectivity evaluation,lithology interface identification and fault interface identification.
