With the improvement of people's living standard and the rapid development of our society,the problem of pollution is getting worse day by day.All kinds of plastic articles can be seen everywhere in people's daily life.As is known to us,traditional plastics are not only difficult to be degraded but also seriously do harm to environment.Therefore,more and more researchers have focused their attention on environment-friendly materials.Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)is a common green degradable crystalline polymer,it has good solubility and can be dissolved in many organic solvents.The modification of polymers by different scientific means is one of the research hotspots.Adding other components of polymer to form a blend system is one of the common methods to regulate the crystallization of polymer.The changes of crystal behaviors affects the macroscopic properties of materials and determines the uses of materials.Therefore,it has great significance to control the different crystallization characteristics of polymers under different conditions.The properties of the blend system are different from the the single component polymer due to its diverse aggregation morphology and structure.And with the change of temperature and composition,the blend system presents different and complex crystallization behavior,which provides a unique perspective and system for studying the crystallization behavior of crystalline polymers.This paper not only studied the crystallization behaviors of single-component PEO under different conditions,but also formed blending systems with different mass ratios by adding poly(4-vinyl phenol)(PVPh),and explored the effects of film thickness,melting temperature and isothermal crystallization temperature on the crystallization behavior of different systems.It was characterized by Polarizing Microscope(POM),Atomic Force Microscope(AFM),Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)and X-ray Diffraction(XRD).Finally,it was found that the film thickness had a significant influence on crystallization.When the film thickness was about 15 nm,the crystal morphology of PEO and its blends is obvious dendritic crystal.When the film thickness is about 15-100 nm,the crystal morphology of PEO and its blends looks like beam.When the film thickness is in the range of 300-1000 nm,the crystal morphology of PEO and its blends is obvious spherulite.In addition,by using polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)templates and the hot embossing technology,we successfully prepared patterned PEO and its blends nanofilms.
