The modern jewelry market is full of similar products with the mark of industrial mass production and standardization.These similar products have been unable to meet the increasingly changing personality needs of contemporary people,and the root of design is the demand of culture,so to solve this problem,we must start from culture.In the design,architecture has become the best cultural epitome and integrator with its comprehensive advantages.The Forbidden City is the largest and most complete ancient palace complex in the world.It is the only existing example and the highest model in the development history of ancient palace city in China.It represents the highest level of ancient official architecture in China in terms of architectural technology and art The research value is self-evident.This paper mainly expounds the application of the Palace Museum architectural patterns in the design of jewelry,analyzes and summarizes three types of jewelry in the current market,which are realistic,freehand and local materials.Based on the analysis of the decorative features of caisson,architrave and screen wall in the Palace Museum,and based on the design elements and design principles of jewelry,this paper combines the decorative patterns of the palace museum with the traditional and modern jewelry production technology,and puts forward a new idea of the combination of decorative patterns and technology,so as to realize the trinity of material,technology and concept,and independently designs and manufactures the Palace Museum There are three groups of different connotations,different forms,different combinations of works and other applications of design schemes,which are the combination of well decoration and new-style Diancui technology;the Palace Museum screen decoration and new-style enamel technology;the Palace Museum Fangxin color painting decoration and modern 3D printing technology.The combination of the Palace Museum Architectural decoration and jewelry design broadens the existing theoretical perspective,provides new ideas for jewelry design,increases the interest and connotation of jewelry design itself,improves the commercial value,artistic value and market acceptance of the works,and enables the expression of Chinese traditional culture through intuitive wearing,which is the basis of theoretical research On this basis,through the practice of craft production,we provide different design schemes and production directions,and explore the possibility of the application of the Palace Museum architectural patterns in jewelry design.We hope that through the design and practice,we can increase the frequency of Chinese traditional culture in public life,improve the influence rate of traditional culture,inherit traditional culture,carry forward excellent culture,and fully integrate innovation,Carry forward the spirit of the times and further introduce China to the world.
