This research work covers the field of synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks using electron rich nitrogen ligands as linkers and transition metals as metal points. In that, new MOFs were synthesized and their fluorescence sensing performances were thoroughly studied including their detection ability towards nitro-explosives and metal ions. These research works are;1.A new mixed ligand metal organic framework[Cd3(5-NH2-mdc)3(Bipy)3·H2O]n(1)was synthesized under solvothermal reactions of Cd(NO3)2·4H2O,Oxalylbis(azanediyl)diisophthalic acid and 2,2-biprydyl.The as-synthesized MOF show a ?…? conjugation effect of a benzene ring between adjacent chains, linked by H-bondings to form a 3D network to give enhancement of the stability of the complex. The complex was further characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD),IR spectroscopy, etc.Photoluminescent experiments show that the complex 1 exhibits sensitive and selective detections for TNP,Pb2+and Fe3+.Furthermore,the detection mechanisms were explored by both experimentations and calculations.2.A new ligand[1-{2-(2-pyridyl)-benzo[d]imidazole}-2-(5-hydroxyisophthalic acid)ethane]was synthesized and was used to further synthesize Cadmium or Cobalt based metal-organic frameworks successfully under solvothermal conditions,named{[Cd(H2O)]2·H2O}n(2)and {[Co(H2O)]·2H2O}n(3).The synthesized complexes were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The phase purity and thermal stability were further characterized by PXRD and TG.The luminescence properties of these new MOFs were also studied, the result shows that complex 2 can act as luminescence sensor for detecting Fe(?)with high selectivity.Figure[43]Table[8]Reference[129]...
