Polyether-ether-ether-ketone(PEEK)is a special engineering plastic with excellent performance.PEEK has significant advantages,such as high temperature resistance,flame retardant,radiation resistance and super mechanical properties.At present,it widely used in advanced mechanical,medical,nuclear engineering,aviation and other scientific technological fields.Especially in the medical field,because its elastic modulus is very close to that of human bone,which can effectively reduce the stress-shielding effect and is the best material for artificial bone.3D printing technology can process complex samples quickly and effectively,and then solve the difficulty of traditional injection molding process to process artificial bones.Aiming at the key problems of PEEK,such as high melting point and difficulty of 3D printing,Fused deposition modeling(FDM)printing equipment was adopted to print PEEK wires in this paper.The self-designed FDM 3D printing device was used to research the influence of different printing temperature,different printing speed,different printing layer thickness and different physical aging on the mechanical properties of the printing samples,and the influence mechanism of the mechanical properties of the printing samples was analyzed with Scanning electron microscope(SEM)and other detection devices;At the same time,This paper designs an adaptive slicing algorithm based on topology optimization,and uses Matlab software to simulate this slicing algorithm.The main research conclusion are as follows:(1)Designed and manufactured a FDM 3D printing device that can be used for PEEK wire forming;The device mainly includes a motion system,a high temperature printing head and a building room.The high-temperature printing head and the building room are used for melting PEEK wire with the temperature control system.The motion system is used to realize the printing head moving in three-dimensional space,and the fused extruded wire is stacked into a design model.At the same time,ANSYS software is used to simulate the high-temperature print head and building room,and it is concluded that the high-temperature print head and building room can meet the printing requirements of PPEK.(2)The mechanical properties of PEEK printing samples are positively correlated with printing temperature,but negatively correlated with printing layer thickness and printing speed.At the same time,physical aging reduced PEEK elongation at break and increased yield stress strength.(3)The quality of 3D printing is closely related to the capacity of the slicing algorithm.Adaptive slicing algorithm,based on topology optimization,can reduce the chord error and improve the slice quality,and can effectively improve the slice efficiency while ensuring the slice quality of the model.
