Titanium alloy has been widely used in aerospace, rocket engines and key parts of the airframe, with an increasing proportion in the structure of aerospace vehicles. In view of the scientific problem that the tribological properties of titanium alloy and ion-nitriding titanium alloy are poor and it is difficult to meet the low friction coefficient and long service life of the friction pair components, the effects of the addition of carbon nanomaterials with self-lubricating properties on the tribological properties of titanium alloy and ion-nitriding titanium alloy under vacuum and atmospheric conditions were studied in this paper. The main research results are as follows:(1)In the experiment to explore the influence of nano-onion carbon, carbon nanotubes, graphene and nano-diamond on the tribological properties of titanium alloy,in the vacuum environment, the friction coefficient of the group without addition is 0.40,while the friction coefficient of the group with addition of graphene is 0.26,the friction coefficient decreasing after addition of graphene.Under atmospheric conditions, the initial coefficient of friction of the unadded group is 0.40,while the coefficient of friction gradually increased, and the wear rate is9.0×10-4mm3/Nm.However,the coefficient of friction of the graphene added group is0.08,that is significantly reduced, and the wear rate was 1.5×10-6mm3/Nm,that decreased by two orders of magnitude.(2)In the experiment to explore the influence of nano onion carbon, carbon nanotubes, graphene and nano diamond on the tribological properties of ion-nitriding titanium alloy, the addition of carbon nanomaterials can not significantly reduce the friction coefficient and wear rate of ion-nitriding titanium alloy under vacuum environment.Under atmospheric conditions, the friction coefficient and wear rate of the group without carbon nano-materials are 1.10 and 9.0×10-5mm3/Nm.The friction coefficient and wear rate of carbon nanotubes group are 0.15 and 6×10-6mm3/Nm,and the friction coefficient and wear rate of graphene group are 0.18 and3×10-6mm3/Nm,indicating that the addition of carbon nanotubes and graphene can reduce friction and wear resistance of ion-nitrided titanium alloy.
