Research On Fashion Design Based On Taoist Natural Aesthetics

The Chinese culture is brilliant,and the Taoist natural aesthetics is even more important.With the increase of cultural self-confidence in recent years,the rise of "national trend" in fashion design,traditional culture plays an increasingly important role in design research.Based on the theory of Taoist natural aesthetics,which nourishes Chinese civilization for thousands of years,the author hopes to construct the design concept of Taoist natural aesthetics in the clothing design system by studying the application of Taoist natural aesthetics in the clothing design.This paper first focuses on the study of Taoist natural aesthetic thought,which originated from the Taoist philosophical thought system represented by Laozi and Zhuangzi.Laozi takes "Tao" as the center of his theoretical system,"nature" is the embodiment of "Tao",and then puts forward the concept of "Inaction",and advocates that human activities should conform to nature and not act rashly.This is also the highest level that Taoism pursues.Then it further expounds the essence of the Taoist aesthetic thought of "nature".Secondly,through the study of the history of Chinese clothing,we can conclude the influence of Taoist natural aesthetics on traditional clothing.Then it analyzes the influence of Taoist natural aesthetics on contemporary fashion design.Thirdly,based on the contemporary clothing design environment,this paper attempts to explore the development and limitations of Taoist natural aesthetics in the contemporary clothing design environment.The last part,based on the theoretical research of Taoist natural aesthetics and its influence on traditional clothing and contemporary clothing design,carries out design practice,and summarizes Taoist natural aesthetics from the following three aspects: the penetration of Taoist natural aesthetics design concept,the application ofdesign method of "existence and non existence" and the aesthetic characteristics of Taoist natural aesthetics,embody these three aspects,and summarize the guidance and significance of Taoist natural aesthetics for clothing design.At present,with the rapid development of China’s economy,people are facing multiple pressures brought by society,work and family,and the material production aggravates the destruction of the ecological environment,which makes people pay more and more attention to the ecological environment and the harmonious development with nature.Nowadays,with the increasing urbanization,people pay more and more attention to the inner peace and balance,and the natural beauty.At the same time,the clothing design industry of various countries also shows the thinking of environmental problems,and the awareness of environmental protection in the fashion industry is awakened.Based on Chinese traditional culture,the author studies the influence and development of Taoist natural aesthetics in the field of clothing,and analyzes the visual expression of Taoist natural aesthetics in clothing design.We hope to study the application of Taoist natural aesthetics in costume design,draw on the essence of traditional culture,and nourish the present and future.
