It has attracted extensive attention for Low-dimensional metal organic functional complexes due to the particularity and controllability of structure and the various potential applications in many fields of light,electricity,heat,magnetism,force,chemistry and biology.And it has gradually become a new material with development potential,especially in the magnetic field.Seven 3d and/or 4f coordination clusters(CCs)and three one-dimensional(1D)chain polymers were synthesized by solvothermal reaction,and its structures and magnetic properties were investigated.The main contents are summarized as follows:1.8-hydroxyquinolne(HL1)and 1,1,1-Tris(hydroxymethyl)-Ethane(H3L2)as the bridge ligands in this work.?2-L1,?3-L1and ?7-L2react with NiII,DyIIIunder different reaction conditions,five disk-like heptanuclear coordination clusters(1-5)were obtained by simple one-step route.Enneanuclear and decanuclear coordination clusters(6-7)were obtained respectively through ?2-L1 and ?1-L2 react with NiII,DyIIIunder different reaction conditions.The disk-like metal node is available,because three metal ions,coordinated with one ?3-O,form a triangular conformation easily,and seven metal ions constructed into the highly symmetric disk-like node by six ?3-O in this way.Magnetic studies for 1-5 indicated that slow magnetic relaxation of 5 is distinguishing.The fitted ?0 and Ea/kB from Arrhenius plot are 7.64×10-13s and 122.73 K,respectively.2.8-hydroxyquinolne(HL1)as the bridge ligands in this work.Isomorphic 1D chain complexes {DyNa}n(8)and {Dy0.02Y0.98Na}n(9)were obtained by metal doping with ?2-L1as the bridging group.In addition,a 1D chain complex(10)was obtained through ?2-L1and ?1-L1 react with DyIIIin the?reaction and nitrate radicals bridge with {Dy3} units.Magnetic studies showed that slow magnetic relaxation exist in 8.The fitted ?0 and Ea/kB of 8 from Arrhenius plot are 1.80×10-8s and 68.10 K.Complex 9,made from metal doping of 8,is single-ion magnet,and it revealed that the quantum tunneling mechanism is inhibited after metal doping.The fitted ?0 and Ea/kB of 9 from Arrhenius plot are 2.26×10-8s and 68.00 K.In?addition,complex 9 show the solid photoluminescence behavior that 8 do not possess.
