With the development of intelligent manufacturing technology,countries around the world are accelerating the intelligent transformation of manufacturing plants and developing intelligent manufacturing technology.Manufacturing companies have put forward the goal of intelligent and efficient production,which puts strict requirements on the assembly line balancing technology.In the face of the increasing costs of labor and material,the lean production cost balance research on the assembly line can reduce cost and improve efficiency.The application of two-sided assembly lines for lean production not only meets the needs of enterprises to assemble large and complex parts and products,but also optimizes the layout and production efficiency.Two-sided assembly line balance research based on lean cost theory can reduce the investment of equipment and tools,improve the phenomenon of uneven utilization of various stations,increase the economic benefits,and improve the market competitiveness.This article mainly carried out the following aspects of research:(1)Summarizing and analyzing the research status of the TALBP and its solutions at home and abroad,summarizing the application status of the HS algorithm.The paper studies and analyzes the definition,classification,characteristics and complexity of the TALBP in detail,and summarizes the lean production cost theory.(2)For the TALBP meeting basic constraints,with the optimization objective of minimizing the number of mated-stations and single-sided stations,the model of TALBP based on lean cost is constructed.According to the characteristics of the two-sided assembly line,an improved HS algorithm based on sequence combination coding is proposed.The decoding and pitch adjusting operation that meet the solving ability are designed.By solving standard examples,it shows that the improved HS algorithm has obtained a better solution than those in the literature.This algorithm is used to balance the loader assembly line and give a preliminary work assignment plan.(3)Aiming at the position constraints between tasks and stations,parallel constraints and position constraints between tasks,etc.,with efficiency,smoothness index,labor cost as lean optimization goals,a multi-objective two-sided assembly line Mathematical model with multiconstraint is proposed.A multi-objective harmony search algorithm based on Pareto entropy is used to solve this kind of combined optimization problem.The algorithm introduces Pareto entropy to judge the diversity of the population and realize adaptive adjustment of parameters.Due to the complexity of the constraints,the decoding operation and the repair strategy of infeasible solutions were redesigned.The analysis shows that proposed algorithm has more quantity and more well-distribution.,compared with other algorithms.The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified,and the algorithm is used to optimize the lean cost objectives for the assembly line of loaders.(4)For influencing factors that appear in the actual production,such as,repeated operations of workers,differences in skill levels and equipment performance,etc.This paper uses Plant Simulation software to establish a simulation model according to the specific balancing optimized plan.And analyzing the loader balancing plan to choose the final plan.
