Torsional deformation is a strain controlled deformation method.The composite material prepared by the torsion process has the characteristics of high yield,good combination effect and excellent mechanical properties.Therefore,this article independently designed and assembled a set of torsional composite forming device,using this device to torsional compound 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel,and successfully prepared 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel layered composite materials,and then combined with mechanical tensile properties testing,metallographic structure,scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS)and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)analysis,etc.,studied 1060aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum allo/Structure and mechanical properties of two types of stainless steel layered composite materials.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The self-designed torsion composite forming device has achieved the preparation of1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite materials.The twist-formed composite material has the advantages of high strength,high elongation and excellent interface combination performance.Among them,the maximum tensile strength(?th)of 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite can reach 335.3MPa,and the maximum elongation(?)can reach 90.3%;6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite material?thcan reach 323.1MPa,?can reach 104.5%(2)During the torsional compounding process,with the increase of the torsion temperature,the 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite plates showed a downward trend in the maximum torque(Tb)of the composite material,the?thof the material decreased,and the?increased with the twist The temperature rises.Among them,during the torsion process from 20?to 500?,the?thof the 1060aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite material was reduced by 53.8MPa;but the?increased from 30.1%to 70.3%;during the torsion process from 300?to 500?,the?thof the 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite material decreased by 54.1MPa,and?increased by 34.9%.In addition,with the increase of torsion temperature,both types of composite materials have different degrees of grain refinement.(3)During the torsional forming process,with the torsion angle(?)of the 1060aluminum alloy/stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite materials increases,the torque(T)of the composite material gradually increases,and the?th of the material gradually decreases,while?gradually increase.The width of the interface bonding area of the composite material also increases with the increase of?.Among them,during the torsion process of 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel layered material from 720°to 1440°,the?thof the material can reach 335.3MPa and the?can reach 90.3%.The width of the bonding area of the material is 22.5?m;During the twisting of the 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel layered composite material from 720°to 2160°,the?thof the material is as high as 323.1MPa,the?can reach 104.5%,and the width of the bonding area of the material is increased by 10.4?m.(4)After the heat preservation treatment of the two types of composite materials for0?60min,the diffusion area of the composite materials increases with the increase of the heat preservation time.The width of the diffusion area of 1060 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite is up to 22.6?m,while the width of the diffusion area of 6061 aluminum alloy/stainless steel composite is up to 20.3?m.In addition,with the increase of the holding time,the grain size of the composite material increased slightly,the stress concentration at the bonding interface was also significantly reduced,and the texture of the composite material structure was changed,which significantly enhanced the strength of the texture.
