EDM is an important direction in the field of special machining.Gap state detection and servo control technology are important factors that restrict the development of this technology.Traditional detection methods can not keep up with the needs of modern machining and can not reach the expected accuracy.Based on this,this paper studies the arc open circuit,spark discharge,arc real-time discharge and short circuit,pulse to pulse in EDM Based on the analysis of the difference of voltage,current and pulse in the frequency of vibration harmonic,a principle of identifying the state of spark discharge in five states,such as open circuit,normal spark discharge,unstable arc,stable arc and short circuit,is established according to the different characteristics of the state of various gaps Point can't distinguish arc and normal spark state very well,so the detection method of distinguishing arc and normal spark state according to different frequency is put forward in order to improve machining efficiency.The average voltage and peak voltage of the gap are determined as the two important basis of the detection by consulting the existing detection methods.Based on this,a two-way signal acquisition circuit is proposed.The purpose is to collect the data of the two more accurately and then hand them to the computer for detection,and improve the conventional detection method.When the specific state is judged,the reasonable fuzzy rules and the fuzzy adaptive PID controller are established according to the existing machining experience,which provides the basis for the follow-up guidance of the servo system.The other part of this paper is to optimize the design of EDM servo system,to elaborate the various modules of hardware,and to design the pulse power supply,as well as to develop the upper computer system and related software through the probability module of SCM statistics of each state.Finally,based on the Simulink simulation software,the EDM model is modeled mathematically,and the simulation model is established.Through the experiment,it is verified that the performance of fuzzy PID control strategy is better than that of conventional PID control strategy,and the servo motor control system is simulated,which proves that the control system has good self-adjusting and self-adaptive ability.
