In this paper,the compatibility,thermal properties,mechanics and micromorphology of Tetra-fluoro ethylene/hexa-fluoro propylene fluoride binary copolymer(FEP),Poly(methyl methacrylate)(PVDF)and poly(meryl methacrylate)(PMMA)blends were studied.1.FEP and PMMA were blended by melt blending.The influence of the composition of the FEP/PMMA blends on the rheological properties,dynamic mechanical behavior,thermodynamic behavior,mechanical properties behavior and morphology of the FEP/PMMA blends were investigated.Dynamic mechanical behavior showed that all of the FEP/PMMA blends with different composition presented one glass-transition temperature(Tg).The FEP/PMMA blends showed one peak position.And the peak position gradually approached to that of the FEP.The character indicated that the FEP and PMMA were partly compatible.PMMA dispersed in the continuous FEP phase with the form of sphere particles in the blend with the 30% PMMA.And the particle diameter of the dispersed phase was between 10 ?m and 50 ?m.The increment of FEP content maked the impact strength and elongation at break of FEP/PMMA blends increase.And elasticity modulus,tensile strength,bending strength were reduced.In summary,FEP/PMMA blends were compatible.And the crystallization process of FEP in blends was not affected by the FEP/PMMA ratio.The crystallization temperature was not changed.2.Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) and Tetra-fluoro ethylene/hexa-fluoro propylene fluoride binary copolymer(FEP)were blended by melt blending.The influence of the composition on mechanical properties and morphology of the FEP/PMMA blends were investigated.And the compatibility of the system was analyzed by dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The results of balanced torque showed that the composition of the blend had little effect on the balance torque of the composition.The mechanical properties results showed that the impact strength of PVDF was lower than that of FEP.While the elastic modulus,tensile strength and bending strength were higher.Therefore,PVDF/FEP blends complemented each other in mechanical properties.Dynamic mechanical behavior showed that with the increment of PVDF content,the Tg of the blends gradually moved to the Tg of PVDF.The results showed that the FEP and PMMA were miscible.The morphology showed that the blends were sea-island structures.They were not entirely compatible.The content of PVDF had no obvious effect on the crystallization and melting temperature of PVDF and FEP.3?The PVDF of different components was added to the FEP/PMMA blends with a ratio of 30/70 and 50/50,respectively.The effect of PVDF content on the compatibility and hydraulic properties of FEP/PMMA blends were investigated.The mechanical properties showed that with the increment of PVDF content.The impact strength and bending strength of the blend were obviously improved.The tensile strength and elastic modulus were less impact.Dynamic dynamics tests showed that the Tg of the blends gradually moved towards low temperature with the increment of PVDF content.The results showed that the two constituents were compatible.At the same time,with the increment of PVDF content,the contact angle became larger,the wettablity was reduced,and the critical surface tension became smaller.
