In this dissertation, solid particle erosion experiments were carried out under controlled conditions in the laboratory, and the mechanical properties of the film material after erosion were tested. The effect of solid particle erosion on the fracture strength of low density polyethylene(LDPE)film was studied. The effects of solid particle erosion on the residual fracture stress and residual fracture strain of low density polyethylene film with impact angle(?)and impact velocity(v_p)and impact duration(t)were analyzed. The results show that with the increase of impact strength, the surface morphology of LDPE film first appears impact crater, then appears"tree structure",and finally produces wire mesh fracture under the action of solid particle erosion. After the erosion experiment, the fracture stress and strain of LDPE film decrease with the increase of impact time, and the reduction rate increases with the increase of impact velocity and impact angle.Further analysis shows that under the same impact angle, the fracture stress and fracture strain of LDPE film decrease exponentially with the increase of impact energy;under the same impact energy, there is an approximate linear relationship between the attenuation of fracture stress and fracture strain and the impact energy component perpendicular to the film direction. Finally,an empirical model is proposed to predict the change of fracture stress and strain of LDPE film with particle impact energy in the limited impact energy range. The model is helpful to estimate the aging and service life of LDPE film materials in agricultural and industrial production.
