Water energy is a green and renewable energy with huge reserves on the earth.Using the hydroelectric effect to realize the direct conversion of water energy to electric energy has gradually become a research hotspot in the field of new energy,and it has also opened up a new way for the development of water energy.In recent years,researchers have made use of a variety of nano-materials to prepare nano-materials hydroelectric generators,using the hydroelectric effect to achieve the conversion of electric energy,laying a foundation for the research of hydroelectric power generation successfully.Early studies mostly used carbon nano-materials to prepare hydroelectric generators.Subsequently,the researchers broke through the limitations of the carbon nano-material system,have successively developed a layered double metal hydroxide and nano-oxide particle system for hydroelectric power generation.In terms of generator structure,early research adopted immersion power generation,using nano-particles or carbon nanotubes to generate power in three-dimensional contact with water.In recent years,researchers have developed planar contact hydroelectric power generation technology,which has also realized hydroelectric power generation.Therefore,expanding the material system for hydroelectric power generation and optimizing the structural design of hydroelectric generators continuously have become an important research content in the field of hydroelectric power generation.In this paper,silicon carbide(SiC)and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)materials were used as hydroelectric power generation materials,and nano-generators with different structures were designed.Meanwhile,the performance of the generators was studied.?.In this paper,SiC nano-materials are selected as the hydroelectric power generation material,and the water evaporation energy is used as the driving force of the hydroelectric generator.The generator has the characteristics of simple process,low cost,flexibility and deformability.The morphology,crystal structure and surface chargeability of SiC nano-materials were characterized,and the working mechanism of the generator was discussed.The electrical performance of the nano-generator was systematically tested,and the factors affecting the electrical output performance of the SiC nano-generator were studied.The results shown that the open circuit voltage(Voc)and short circuit current(Isc)of the nano-generator can be controlled and modulated by changing the evaporation height,evaporation width,relative humidity,air flow and photo-thermal energy assistant.The Vocof a single SiC nano-generator can reach up to 1.3V,and the Isccan reach up to 0.95?A.?.A plane contact dripping friction generator was prepared by using PDMS film as the friction working material and relying on gravity-driven water droplets as the energy source.The generators are easy to fabricate,have simple structure and high output voltage.This paper improves structure and performance of the generator by optimizing the coating thickness of the film materials,the conductive substrate materials and the electrode materials.The output voltage of the single generator can reach up to 65V.This result shows that the droplet friction generator has excellent electrical output performance,which also provides a new research idea for the development of water energy.
