MT oil field is situated at the southwest of the central structure belt in FT depression.Like many other low-permeability oil fields,MT oil field involves a lot of typical problems such as complex structure, scattered vertical reservoir distribution, fast decline, and poor water-intake capacity in target area.In this study, six blocks(Block M1,M2,M4,M5,M6,M15)are selected as target areas.Based on geological cognitions, oil reservoir production characteristics were analyzed.Through oil reservoir engineering evaluation, reasonable technical strategies of the oil field were achieved, which slowed down the production decline and improved the ultimate recovery.Firstly, fine geological research was studied through stratigraphic correlation of all the wells located in six blocks in MT oil field, confirming that the main oil layer is L ?member.Filtration features was studied and influential factors of reservoir development were analyzed.Based on wettability and phase permeability experiments, water wettability features of reservoir rocks were identified and the feasibility of water flood was proved.Secondly, sorting out and analyzing the data of welltest and production test, welltest and production test characteristics weresummed up.It shows that initial output is high, but the output decreases rapidly, which indicates that the formation energy deficiency is existed.Numerical simulation, reservoir engineering, analogy method and so on are usedin the study of development layer series. The development modes, well pattern and individual well productivityand other developed technology policies were studied to provide evidences for making deployment plans. Finally, focusing on economic benefits, the reservoir geology and technology level are considered to make deployment plan.
