Cyclotetramethylene tetranitramine(HMX)has high density and high detonation velocity,and has good detonation performance.It is more sensitive to external stimuli and has lower security,which make it cannot be directly applied to weapon equipment.Nowadays,HMX is coated by polymer materials to improve safety and realize its wide application in weapon equipment become a research hotspot.In this paper,HMX was taken as the research object,butadiene rubber(BR)and fluorine rubber(FR)were selected as binders.Molecular dynamics(MD)simulation and experimental analysis were used to study the influence of parameter conditions on the coating effect and safety of HMX/binder composite during the preparation process.The main contents of the paper are as follows:First of all,MD simulation was used to study the effect of different binder content on the binding energy and cohesive energy density of HMX/BR and HMX/FR composite systems.The higher the binding energy,the better the bonding effect,and the higher the cohesive energy density,the lower the sensitivity.The simulation results show that when the binder content is5%,the binding energy and the cohesive energy density of HMX/BR is highest,which means that the interaction between HMX and BR is strongest and the sensitivity is lower.When the binder content is 11%,the binding energy and the cohesive energy density of HMX/FR is highest,which means that the interaction between HMX and FR is strongest and the sensitivity is lower.Secondly,the HMX was coated by the water suspension coating method.Through design orthogonal test,fiction sensitivity and thermal explosion critical temperature were used as evaluation indexes.The safety of HMX/binder composite was analyzed by fiction sensitivity and thermal explosion critical temperature.The optimal parameter combination was obtained by means of safety,X-ray diffraction analysis and sample morphology.When HMX is coated with hydrocarbon-type binder BR,the results show that the optimal parameter combination for composite preparation is:binder concentration 5%,binder content 3%,stirring speed 400r·min-1,water bath temperature 55°C.The sample prepared with the optimal parameter combination has uniform particle distribution and good dispersion.The critical load of fiction sensitivity is240N and the critical temperature of thermal explosion of the composite is 281.66?.It shows that the HMX/BR composite prepared under this condition has better coating effect and better safety.Finally,the HMX was coated with fluorocarbon adhesive FR.The optimal parameter combination for compound preparation is:binder concentration 15%,binder content 7%,stirring speed 400r·min-1,water bath temperature 40°C.The sample prepared with the optimal parameter combination has uniform particle distribution and good dispersion.The critical load of fiction sensitivity is 288N,and the critical temperature of thermal explosion of the composite is 274.53°C.It shows that the HMX/FR composite prepared under this condition has better coating effect and better safety.
