In this paper,the plastic deformation treatment of 2205 duplex stainless steel is mainly performed by cold rolling and high-pressure torsion.Through various analysis and testing methods,the phase changes and mechanics of duplex stainless steel in different plastic deformation processes are systematically studied.The evolution of performance and microstructure mainly has the following conclusions:(1)After cold rolling of 2205 duplex stainless steel,its mechanical properties and microstructure have changed significantly.As the amount of deformation increases,the strength of the material increases and the plasticity decreases,and the microstructure changes of austenite and ferrite are significantly different.(2)During the cold rolling process,the deformation process of austenite involves dislocation slip,mechanical twinning,phase transformation and shear bands,so its microstructure is relatively diverse.However,the deformation of ferrite involves only dislocation slip,so its microstructure evolution is also relatively simple;(3)2205 duplex stainless steel gradually forms a cold-rolled texture during the cold-rolling process.As the amount of deformation increases,both the texture type and strength change significantly.After 80% cold rolling,a typical brass-type texture is formed in austenite,while ferrite forms a texture in which the main texture components are distributed on the ?-fiber;(4)The 2205 duplex stainless steel was subjected to high-pressure torsion treatment under different pressures,the two-phase microstructure showed very obvious differences.Austenite shows different microstructure characteristics under different pressures,while ferrite does not show obvious differences in microstructure under different pressures;(5)During the high-pressure torsion treatment,the microstructure difference of austenite proves that with the increase of pressure,the major deformation mechanism of austenite gradually transitions from dislocation slip to twinning induced by strain.
