Research On The Extraction Of The Artistic Elements Of Lu Brocade’s Patterns And Its Application In Women’s Clothing Design

As a representative of traditional hand-made textiles in southwestern Shandong Province,Lu Brocade is rooted in the vast rural areas of southwestern Shandong Province.In the long historical development process,it has integrated profound cultural heritage and formed its own unique artistic style.As one of the components of the Yellow River culture,due to its unique pattern art form,superb weaving technology and practicality,it was included in the second batch of China’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2008.There are nearly two thousand kinds of Lu Brocade’s patterns,and different patterns have different names.The artistic characteristics of its patterns,deep cultural connotations and distinctive regional characteristics are all worthy of our in-depth study and discussion.The research content of this subject mainly includes the following aspects:First,discuss the research background and significance of the Lu Brocade’s pattern,and summarize the domestic and foreign research results related to Lu Brocade.Based on the relevant literature and historical records,combined with the physical objects of the Lu Brocade’s Museum in China collected during the field investigation,and exploring its artistic characteristics,cultural connotation and regional culture,provides a theoretical basis for the innovative application of Lu Brocade’s patterns.Secondly,using the method of deconstructing patterns,from the perspective of pattern analysis,by extracting the contours,organizational structure,andwhich commonly used colors of the basic patterns of Lu Brocade,the extracted elements are simplified,deformed,deconstructed and reorganized,in accordance with the formal beauty of modern patterns,Design the new patterns.Thirdly,combining the existing design examples to analyze the current situation and existing problems of the Lu brocade’s pattern in women’s clothing design,combining professional knowledge and modern aesthetics to propose practical and feasible innovative design methods,providing innovative practice for the combination of Lu brocade’s pattern and modern women’s clothing design feasibility study.Finally,combined with the author’s design practice to prove the research results,use the Lu brocade’s pattern art as a design inspiration or design element,follow the principles of pattern application in design,and clarify the principles and innovation methods for reference to the Lu brocade’s pattern in the specific design process.Realize the aesthetic value of the Lu brocade’s pattern.The pattern of Lu brocade is very regional,and the intertwined yarn embodies the wisdom and strength of people in southwestern Shandong Province,which highlights the simple folk customs.Through the research and analysis of the subject characteristics,regional culture and artistic characteristics of Lu brocade,people can have a deeper understanding of the folk customs and culture in southwestern Shandong Province.It is conducive to inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese hand-made textile skills,and can provide a theoretical basis for related research.At the same time,the innovative design practice of the Lu brocade’s pattern has a certain reference significance for innovating the design form of traditional domestic fabrics,stimulating design inspiration in contemporary clothing design and other fields,and adding design materials to my country’s clothing design industry.
