As a new type of lightweight panel structure,origami metal sandwich panel has good mechanical properties,which can be used as supporting and bearing structures such as automobile bottom plate side plate,aircraft fuselage wing,solar cell bracket,etc.The forming process is simple,and the paper folding metal sandwich plate with good quality can be produced by simple stamping process.Compared with the previous honeycomb sandwich panel,the traditional core structure is omitted,and the bonding between the core and the substrate is not considered in the structural safety.For the origami metal sandwich panel,which is a light-weight panel structure with good load-bearing performance,its structural stability has always been a research hotspot.In this paper,the structure of origami metal sandwich panel is studied as follows:(1)The regularity of the cell structure of origami metal sandwich plate is analyzed,and the structural process and evolution law of the cell structure are studied,which provides a model basis for the research of the origami metal sandwich panel structural stability law in the future.(2)Taking the critical buckling load and ultimate bearing load as evaluation indexes,the lateral buckling analysis and static analysis of origami metal sandwich panel cell structure are carried out by using the finite element arc length method and the experimental method.The whole loading process is analyzed and discussed to verify the applicability and feasibility of the finite element arc length method for the stability analysis of origami metal sandwich panel and its cell structure.The arc length method is used to analyze the stability of cell structures with different parameters under two kinds of constrained boundary conditions,and the buckling modes and post buckling modes in the loading process are studied,and the influence of cell parameters on the stability and bearing capacity of the structure is explored.(3)The cell structure is extended to the whole origami metal sandwich panel structure,and the simplified origami metal sandwich plate is constructed to explore the influence of different parameters on the stability and bearing capacity of origami metal sandwich plate.(4)The eccentric loading of origami metal sandwich panel under lateral loading is studied,and the influence of eccentric loading on critical buckling load and ultimate bearing capacity is summarized.
