Magnesium alloy is one of the lightest metal materials at present.Its unique physical and chemical properties have been widely concerned.Magnesium alloy has the advantages of low density,high specific strength and stiffness,high elastic modulus,good heat dissipation,good shock absorption and so on.However,magnesium alloy has some disadvantages,such as poor corrosion resistance,relatively low strength performance and unable to use heat treatment process to improve the strength.The face center lattice structure of aluminum alloy crystal makes it show good plasticity,and it also shows excellent corrosion resistance because of the dense oxide film formed on the surface of aluminum alloy;therefore,5052 aluminum alloy and AZ31 B magnesium alloy are selected as composite materials for hot rolling composite,which can make full use of the respective advantages of aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy.Firstly,the true stress-strain curves of AZ31 B magnesium alloy and 5052 aluminum alloy at different strain rates and temperatures were obtained by Gleeble 3800 thermal simulation testing machine,which were imported into ABAQUS finite element analysis software.Secondly,the geometric model of aluminum / magnesium composite plate,material properties of aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy,interaction between composite plate and roll,boundary conditions of finite element model,analysis steps and mesh are modeled by ABAQUS finite element analysis software.The hot rolling process of Al / Mg composite plate was simulated under different rolling temperature,rolling reduction and roll pre heating rolling process.Thirdly,the single factor control variable method is used to analyze the stress and strain of aluminum / magnesium clad plate in the rolling deformation zone under different rolling temperature,different rolling reduction rate and roll preheating.By analyzing the stress in reduction direction,rolling direction and shear stress of clad plate,as well as the strain along rolling direction at the interface of clad plate,the influence of these stresses on the deformation compatibility of Al / Mg clad plate is discussed.Finally,5052 Al / AZ31 B Mg composite plate was prepared by single pass hot rolling experiment under different rolling temperature,rolling reduction and roll preheating rolling process.The bonding strength,microstructure and micro morphology of magnesium matrix of the composite plates prepared by different rolling processes were analyzed.Combined with finite element simulation and hot rolling experiment,the deformation compatibility of clad plate under different rolling processes is analyzed and discussed.The results show that: with the increase of rolling reduction and rolling temperature,the warpage of Al / Mg composite plate increases;the warpage of Al / Mg composite plate can be effectively improved by preheating the roll near the aluminum matrix.
