With the rapid development of computer graphics and virtual reality in the cloth simulation has become an important research content,at present most of the cloth simulation is based on physical simulation,for the simple cloth with rigid body collision applicability is higher,but the kind of easy deformation and flexibility of the flexible fabric cloth,the interaction would produce complex collision,collision and must be accompanied by friction,so the correct collision detection processing and considering frictional contact of fabric simulation plays an important role.In order to solve the problem of weak movement stability of fabric caused by traditional friction model in fabric simulation,an improved Dahl model was proposed to deal with friction contact in fabric simulation.First,aiming at the problem of cloth in the simulation soft variability,the positive triangulation fabric,ignoring particle shear spring force in the spring model method to modeling of cloth,deformation coefficient,introduced at the same time,through the determination of the maximum reset spring length to improve super play phenomenon,ensure the stability of the material model.Second,instead of the traditional approximate method using genetic algorithm,using the spatial and temporal coherence in the virtual environment,optimize the bounding box of the update,reduce deformation bounding box collision detection object movement or update price,greatly improving the speed of collision detection,and then through the particle position by using the interpolation method,the distance from the current minimum and maximum of a particle's position of the three factors to optimize the time step to improve the collision response of dichotomy algorithm,so as to achieve the complexity of the same situation,the purpose of drawing speed was improved,effectively solve the complexity of the collision process,improve the performance of the collision processing algorithms.Finally,in order to solve the human error in the experiment and improve the friction characteristics of cloth,an improved friction model based on Dahl was proposed.In the calculation process of fabric friction in Dahl model,the differential term is introduced to control the relationship between velocity and velocity variables,which increases the applicability of the model.
