As the foundation of industry,steel plays a vital role in production and is widely used in every aspect of production and daily life.Anti-corrosion have always been an impediment hindering the development of the industry.Steel galvanization is a common anti-corrosion method,in which metal surfaces are treated by coating protective layers on basic wire to have surfaces separated from the air in avoidance of oxidization.The coated layers enhance the performance of the wire finishing on anti-corrosion and,further,shed the defectives caused by corrosion.Of steel galvanization,Fluxing and Sendzimir are the mostly applied methods.The Sendzimir does not require pickling and auxiliary plating while lessens the amount of chemical inputs during the process,making the galvanization environmentally-friendly and energy-saving.Nevertheless,the heating process damps the rigidity of wire.It is more suitable,safe to apply flux method when wire with rigidity requirements is put to production.Common coating includes zinc-aluminum alloy and pure zinc layer,where pure zinc coatings are formed strongly while zinc-aluminum alloy coating has much better anti-corrosion performance i.e.Of the same thickness,zinc-aluminum alloy can outperform pure zinc more than double,to which the areas with high humidity and salinity are preferred to apply.However,the coating process turns out to be more challenging as aluminum takes part in.While wire being through pickling,hydrochloric acid can easily dissolve iron oxide,yet is volatile,pollutive,and challenging to transport.Additionally,acid tends to spill out during pickling process However,with the use of water curtains,the overflow of acid mist is outstandingly prevented.The new technology has been used on existing picking process,materializing real-time control on automatic acid adding and online supervision of solution concertation.The new design of pickling systems rises up the utilization of acid solution.Also,the more environment-friendly pickling has come to realization.Both drawing and galvanizing crafts are applied for shaping and forming process.Using constant voltage to manipulate surface molten zinc,the shininess of finishing and productivity have been enhanced significantly.The improved closed-loop,controlled by programming tools,manipulates automatic replenishment system,adopts the software to measure and document the acid concentration in the solution online,establishes the automatic replenishment model,by which errors bought by manual operations can be eliminated significantly and operating efficiency is maximized.Upon the whole system,the diameter of the steel wire and the conductivity of the acid solution are measured by the software,and the amount of acid added in real time synchronized with the changes of production load.Experiments have proved that the electrolysis method can reduce hydrogen embrittlement by conducting pickling with hydrochloric acid to remove the oxide layers whilst being safer;when the pickling process takes place between 40?-45?,the production process is environmentally friendly and the acid consumption is less.The newly designed pickling tank applies a two-section type.Acid adding only needs to be done during the second stage.When the second section is full,the excess acid regorge back to the first section;When the first section is full,the excess acid spills out of the overflow tank.Fluid gauge and a micrometer are mounted in the pickling tank to automatically control the temperature and level of the acid liquid.The two ends of the tank are mounted with water curtains to have acid mist shunned.The acid liquid recovery is redesigned and alternated to avoid excessive acid waste.
