In order to meet the increasing demand for precision parts in modern industry, the times have put forward higher requirements for the machining accuracy and stability of machine tools. The vibration generated during the machining of the machine tool is an important factor restricting the further improvement of its machining accuracy. The low damping ratio of the traditional cast iron machine tool results in its poor vibration damping performance, and it is difficult to greatly improve the vibration damping performance by optimizing the machine tool structure.Resin Mineral Composite(hereinafter referred to as RMC)machine tools are used in the precision processing industry with their excellent damping and vibration reduction performance.RMC uses resin as a binder, broken natural ore as aggregate, and a series of auxiliary materials. The cast-shaped multiphase composite material has the advantages of high damping, strong forming ability and corrosion resistance, but its lack of mechanical properties limits the development of RMC machine tools.Epoxy resin is used as a binder in RMC,and its curing characteristics will directly affect the overall performance of RMC.The mechanical properties of the cured epoxy resin mainly depend on the crosslinking density in the system.By analyzing the curing characteristics and crosslinking density of the cured product under different ratios, combining the test of mechanical properties and the observation of the fracture morphology, the relationship between the crosslinking density and the mechanical properties is explored, and the best epoxy resin and curing agent are obtained.Matching ratio. The research results show that excessive or insufficient curing agent will cause incomplete curing and decrease of cross-linking density, resulting in weakening of mechanical properties. When the cured product is stretched and fractured, the interface between the internal cross-linking points will break to form a flush and smooth fracture. When the ratio of epoxy resin to curing agent is 3.3:1,the curing characteristics are good to form a uniform and dense cured product.During tensile fracture, the internal crosslinking points will break to form a scaly fracture. The cured product has an excellent crosslinking density at this ratio and mechanical properties.Vibration curing is an indispensable process in the preparation of RMC,the main purpose is to discharge the bubbles inside the RMC,reduce the porosity, and improve the mechanical properties.By studying the changes in the porosity and mechanical properties of RMC under different vibration curing processes, the best single defoaming process is obtained, and an excellent composite defoaming process is finally obtained:using vertical vibration at a frequency of 45 Hz and an amplitude of 1.8 mm Carry out the layered pouring with a single layer height of 15 mm and vibrate for 40 minutes, and then place it at the initial curing temperature of 45°C for constant temperature curing, which can realize the composite optimization of the porosity and mechanical properties of the RMC.
