At present,there is an increasing demand for passion fruit in the market.The processing method of passion fruit is mainly manual operation.The manual processing of passion fruit has problems such as high cost,low efficiency,unsanitary,and fragile pulp.Therefore,a passion fruit pulp extraction device is urgently needed to replace manual labor.The focus of this article is to conduct virtual experimental research on the extraction of passion fruit pulp.Firstly,the physical parameters of passion fruit are calibrated,then the EDEM software is used to model the passion fruit in three dimensions,and then the virtual experimental research on various methods of pulp extraction,And finally select an optimal plan through evaluation and complete the plan design of the passion fruit pulp extraction device.The research content and results of this article are as follows:In this paper,the physical parameters of passion fruit were calibrated,and the three-dimensional modeling of the peel and pulp was completed.In this paper,the density of passion fruit was obtained through the weighing experiment,the young's modulus of pulp and peel was obtained through the tensile experiment,the critical stiffness of passion fruit was determined through the shear experiment,and the stiffness and JKR surface energy parameters of passion fruit were obtained through the virtual experiment.Finally,the whole model of passion fruit was completed according to the physical parameters of passion fruit.In this paper,virtual experiments were carried out on different extraction schemes of passion fruit pulp.The four processing schemes for extracting passion fruit pulp are stirring,centrifugation,blowing and suction.In the discrete element simulation experiment of stirring and centrifuging passion fruit pulp,different cutter and peel rotation speed were set to understand the pulp breaking;In the fluid-solid coupling simulation experiment of extracting passion fruit pulp by blowing and sucking the air,the real-time dynamics of passion fruit can be grasped by setting different wind speeds.Through virtual experiment research,it was found that the centrifugal method could not separate the pulp and peel.Both the stirring method and the suction method can obtain the passion fruit pulp with high crushing rate,and the air blowing method can obtain a relatively complete passion fruit pulp.Finally,the best processing scheme of passion fruit was determined by the way of scheme evaluation.The specific implementation steps are to first split the passion fruit in half,and then use a wind speed of 10m/s to blow air in the direction of the large opening of the passion fruit.This paper has completed the design of the passion fruit pulp extraction device.This article first designed a set of actions according to the specific implementation steps so that the passion fruit pulp can be easily extracted,then selected the corresponding actuators according to different processing actions,then configureed the required transmission system and power system,and finally designed the important parts.This project has the following three innovations: the physical parameters of passion fruit were obtained through parameter calibration experiments;the state of the pulp and peel when processing passion fruit in different ways was determined through virtual experiments;Through the research and design,the extraction device of passion fruit pulp with high quality,high processing efficiency,clean and sanitary was obtained.
