As people's awareness of environmental protection increases,the environmental protection of heat stabilizers for PVC is constantly advancing.The development of environmentally friendly heat stabilizers to replace non-environmentally friendly heat stabilizers has become an industry trend.In this research,we developed a magnesium hydroxide as the matrix and used aluminate coupling agent to modify the surface and then use acrylates to graft and polymerize the surface to form an inorganic-organic hybrid grafted polymer Mg(OH)2-BA-MMA,denoted as CN-100,The research content of this article includes the following aspects:(1)The mechanism of Mg(OH)2 hybrid grafting was studied.Infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and thermal weight loss(TGA)were used to characterize the Mg(OH)2 before and after modification.The results showed The modified magnesium hydroxide has the characteristics of coupling agent and graft.Methyl methacrylate combined with butyl acrylate successfully grafted and modified magnesium hydroxide;the modification did not significantly affect the magnesium hydroxide crystal lattice.(2)Research on thermal stability and mechanical properties:Taking ABS/CPE alloy and PC/CPE alloy as the research object,the effects of CN-100,calcium-zinc stabilizer and Japanese hydrotalcite on the thermal stability and mechanical properties of the two alloys were studied respectively.The results show that when the addition amount of CN-100 is 1.6 parts by mass,the thermal stability of ABS/CPE alloy is the best;compared with calcium-zinc stabilizers and Japanese hydrotalcite,the ABS/CPE alloy with CN-100 has better dynamic and static properties Thermal stability;at the same time,it has better tensile,bending and impact resistance,higher melt flow rate,and good mechanical properties and processability.When CN-100 is added in 1.8 parts,PC/CPE alloy has the best thermal stability.Compared with calcium-zinc stabilizer and Japanese hydrotalcite,PC/CPE alloy with CN-100 has better static thermal stability.It has better tensile and bending properties,a higher Vicat softening temperature,and good mechanical properties,rigidity and heat resistance.(3)Application research:Use the Haake rheometer to study the processing fluidity of CN-100 in rigid PVC plates,profiles,and pipes,and compare it with calcium and zinc stabilizers.The same amount of CN-100 and The effect of calcium and zinc stabilizers on the thermal stability of PVC pipes,profiles and plates.The results show that with the increase in the amount of CN-100,the plasticization time of PVC pipes,profiles,and plates will be shortened,and the processing torque will increase slightly.Compared with calcium and zinc stabilizers,the plasticization time is greatly shortened and the plasticizing efficiency is increased.In the thermal stability experiment,the thermal stability time of the sample with CN-100 is about 10 minutes longer than that of the sample with calcium and zinc stabilizer,which has better static thermal stability.
