Research On Xiabu And Its Innovation Application In Germent Design

Summer cloth is a traditional plain linen fabric with Ramie as raw material.It is made of unique traditional hand-made yarn.In Xia,Shang and Zhou Dynasties,Xiabu as a traditional Chinese clothing fabric,used for mourning,deep clothing,dynasty clothing,crown,towel hat.Its exquisite weaving skills in 2008 was listed in the intangible cultural heritage,it carries the long history of the Chinese nation and aesthetic sentiment,in the history of the development of Chinese clothing has a pivotal position.With the development of the global economy and the changing world pattern,the introduction of mechanized production and high technology has brought a strong impact on the traditional mode of production,as a result,the home-based production of summer cloth and the current market environment,so that it is facing unprecedented difficulties.It is very important to analyze and study the existing problems of the traditional woven summer cloth so as not to be eliminated by the market and to radiate new vitality in the market.This article take the summer cloth as the research object,explores the summer cloth in the clothing design innovation application.The author compares and analyzes the concept,development,weaving machine,weaving process and artistic extension of the fabric.According to the texture and connotation of summer cloth,this paper makes innovative practice in weaving material,dyeing technology and remaking technology,and sums up the advantages and disadvantages of summer cloth in clothing.The use of biological Biodegradable plastic dyeing techniques to enrich the color texture of the fabric,combined with the design techniques of plane cutting and three-dimensional composition,fabric stitching,solved the previous single,simple and elegant clothing appearance of the fabric,to explore more feasible designs of summer cloth in clothing design,to mold summer cloth clothing in line with the contemporary aesthetic.
