Research On The Impact Of Environmental Protection Investment And Environmental Information Disclosure Level Of Coal Enterprises On Financial Performance

In the era of economic globalization,my country's economy continues to develop rapidly,but environmental issues have become a serious issue that deserves our attention.At present,most of the pollution in our country comes from enterprises,and most enterprises pay more attention to production and operation activities in their daily operations,pursuing economic benefits while ignoring environmental issues.Heavy-polluting coal industry enterprises are an important part of promoting my country's economic development,but at the same time,compared with other non-heavy-polluting enterprises,their environmental problems are relatively more serious.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign related literature on environmental protection investment,environmental information disclosure level and financial performance,this article introduces its related concepts and theories,and presents the current status of environmental protection investment,environmental information disclosure level and financial performance of the coal industry and enterprises.Analysis of existing problems.Select the effective data of domestic coal industry listed companies from 2015 to 2019 as the current research sample,select some of the data from 2014 to 2018 as the research sample of the lag period,select the quantitative indicators of environmental protection investment and environmental information disclosure level,and use factor analysis To calculate the comprehensive value of the financial performance evaluation of listed companies in the coal industry,take it as the explained variable,and put forward the hypothesis of the impact of relevant quantitative indicators on financial performance.Through descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,multiple linear regression analysis,and mediating effect analysis,the relationship between the three is verified to verify the hypothesis proposed in this study,and the following results are obtained:First,the environmental protection investment of coal enterprises has a significant positive effect on financial performance Impact,but this impact has a lag;second,the environmental protection investment of coal companies has a significant positive impact on the level of environmental information disclosure;third,the level of environmental information disclosure plays a part in the impact of coal companies'environmental protection investment on the financial performance of the lag period Mediation effect.Therefore,companies should increase investment in environmental protection,actively assume environmental responsibilities,and improve the level of environmental information disclosure,which can enable companies to have better financial data in the future and achieve further development.
