With the diversified combination of clothing and other fields,the application of origami modeling in clothing design has also been favored by major designers,and the breakthrough of origami in clothing design is also very obvious.Origami is not only a handicraft worth inheriting,but also has research value.The sense of space created by origami is similar to the human body space formed by clothing.Complex and diverse modeling methods combined with clothing modeling techniques can create Richer clothing structure increases clothing innovation.This subject mainly focuses on origami as the research object.Through literature collection,design cases and related literature websites,the text and pictures are collected and organized to understand the concept and classification of origami.From the characteristics of origami modeling,analyze the application of origami in clothing design the visual beauty.Then,starting from the two-dimensional and three-dimensional directions,the origami model is combined with the clothing structure,fabric and pattern to refine and transform,and the folding method and presentation effect are selected through experiments.On the one hand,the origami model is combined with the clothing structure to make the model design.The three-dimensional shape of the origami is transformed into a plane pattern,and the fabric pattern design is combined with the language of the clothing,and the application of the origami shape in the clothing design is presented through two-dimensional and three-dimensional perspectives.Finally,the theoretical research is sorted out and analyzed based on design practice.Through the study of origami modeling in two-dimensional and three-dimensional directions,combined with the structural design of clothing and fabric pattern design,interesting and diverse explorations are carried out.Multi-angle analysis of the application of origami modeling in clothing not only enriches the clothing design but also inherits the traditional handicraft culture.This paper designs clothing from two dimensions and three dimensions,trying to break the single use of origami modeling and three-dimensional modeling.In the future,we will conduct in-depth research on origami modeling to design more creative and artistically valuable clothing.
