Research And Modern Design Application Of She People’s "Phoenix Costume"

She is one of the 56 ethnic groups in China,and its population distribution is mainly in Fujian,Zhejiang,Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces.On the basis of consulting a large number of literature,according to the migration route of She,the author made a field survey of a number of She museums and villages in China.By analyzing the distribution and dress characteristics of She in Fujian,Zhejiang and Guangdong,it is found that although the dress styles of She in different regions are quite different,their common characteristics are all based on the Phoenix shape,that is,women’s hairstyle and dress all imitate the Phoenix shape,which are called "Phoenix bun" and "Phoenix dress".This paper studies the origin and evolution of the She people’s "Phoenix Costume".Taking the cultural connotation of the She people’s traditional costume "Phoenix Costume" as the breakthrough point,this paper expounds the most representative types of "Phoenix Costume",such as Jingning style,Luoyuan style,Fu’an style,Fuding style and Xiapu style.On this basis,this paper summarizes the fabric characteristics,color and application of She people’s "Phoenix dress",and details the decorative features of totem pattern,animal pattern,plant flower pattern,abstract geometry,as well as the embroidery process,ribbon process,fabric production and dyeing process,silver and other features.Starting from the needs of ethnic dress,with modern aesthetic standards,and the comprehensive use of fashion design and formal beauty principles,the elements of traditional she "Phoenix dress" are extracted,transformed,extended and re applied.On the basis of retaining the traditional charm,innovation is made to design a series of dress,parent-child dress,series headdress and different types of ready-made clothing styles,so as to support this theory from the practical level This is the point of view.While continuing and expanding the research in the field of Phoenix costume culture of She,this subject tries to make a breakthrough in retaining and developing the essence of ethnic costume and integrating the characteristics of traditional costume into modern fashion design,so as to make it have a certain degree of theoretical research and application value.
