Large-scale commercial CAD and CAM software is expensive and difficult to operate,which limits its promotion and application in small and medium-sized enterprises.At the same time,the programming of five-axis CNC system is more complicated than that of three-axis systems.To this end,this article aims at the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises,on the basis of Advantech's motion control board,developed a five-axis linkage CNC system water-jet software that integrates CAD/CAM functions.First,the current processing requirements,the basic functional modules of the five-axis CNC system software and related technical difficulties are analyzed.On this basis,the overall framework of the five-axis CNC system water-jet software is proposed,focusing on the three-dimensional graphics simulation and code generation modules.The speed and angle processing module in the cutting process is improved,and the development environment and tools of the water cutting software are introduced at the same time.Then,the kinematics three-dimensional modeling for the centering AC five-axis cutter head is solved according to the characteristic that the tip point of the centering cutter head does not deviate with the rotation of the rotation axis,and the relationship between the tool space attitude and the rotation axis is obtained.At the same time,in order to improve the accuracy of water cutting,the phenomenon of waterline tail flicking is emphasized.Based on the S-curve addition and subtraction algorithm,a speed smoothing algorithm is proposed.According to the set parameters,each path is divided into acceleration section,uniform speed section and the deceleration section better solves the problem of cutting straight section and corner speed processing.Secondly,two cutting methods of translation,rotation,stretching and setting of the cut angle are proposed for the needs of three-dimensional cutting,and the corresponding CNC code is designed according to the kinematics model.At the same time,for the problem of sudden changes in the rotation angle,the space attitude of the two sets of tools is compared The deviation of the rotation axis angle from the previous interpolation point rotation axis angle has been designed and developed a rotation axis angle smoothing processing algorithm.Based on the above work,a five-axis linkage numerical control system water cutting software integrated with CAD/CAM functions was designed and completed.The software has been tested on actual machine tools and the test results are good,which effectively improves the processing efficiency and accuracy of water cutting.
