Now the earth's energy running out day by day,people are turning their attention to marine resources and various marine structures are constantly emerging.Therefore,the urgent problems that need to be solved in the development of the ocean are the use of marine space and the maintenance of marine underwater structures.Compared with the terrestrial environment,there are more unknown factors in the marine ecological environment has.The load borne by underwater structures is more complex,damaging easily and maintaining difficultly later.Reasonable installation of equipment can effectively reduce the operating cost and maintenance cycle of underwater structures,among which underwater welding in engineering equipment is essential.At present,it is the main underwater welding method that operators carry welding equipment for underwater welding.This kind of welding equipment is cumbersome and limited by electric energy,and it is not convenient for welding in the deep sea.It not only increases the weight of the operator,but also has certain safety hazards.Nowadays underwater welding equipment is mainly developed in the direction of portability,lightness and deep sea.This research develops a split multifunctional underwater chopper welding power source,including a full-bridge inverter power supply,a battery pack power supply system and a chopper.First of all,this research designs the full-bridge inverter power supply circuit according to the actual welding voltage and welding current required for underwater welding.Secondly,this research designs the series-parallel structure of the battery pack power supply system for making the output voltage and output current of the battery pack power supply system consistent with the full-bridge inverter power supply.Both of them can output high-current DC with a stable and low level,which can meet the power supply requirements of underwater choppers.The split underwater welding power supply adopts a complementary power supply method of a full-bridge inverter power supply and a battery pack power supply system.Operators carry underwater choppers for underwater welding.In the actual underwater welding work,different power equipment is used for different working areas.On platforms with shallow water depth or sufficient power supply,it uses full-bridge inverter power supply on land platforms for underwater welding.Chopper welding machine operation underwater.In this working mode,the shorter cable reduces the influence of the cable on underwater welding.The battery pack power supply system is used to power the underwater chopper for underwater welding in deep water areas or areas with insufficient power supply.This working mode is not affected by the harsh environment under the sea.The research designs the structure of the chopper,including the circuit design of the control circuit,protection circuit,auxiliary power supply,etc.The circuit design ensures that the welding machine has good external characteristics.Experimental study to study the performance of the welding power source under different loading conditions.Finally,this research tests the full-bridge inverter power supply and chopper control circuit.The experimental results show that the split welding power source has relatively good adjustment characteristics,and can output welding current and voltage that meet the requirements of underwater welding.
