The casing damage of heavy oil thermal recovery wells in Liaohe Oilfield has been very serious.The problem of casing damage has always been complicated,with many influencing factors and a wide range of disciplines.It is very important to study the casing damage mechanism of thermal recovery wells and solve the casing damage of thermal recovery wells to extend the life of oil wells and increase oilfield production.Based on the collation and analysis of on-site statistics of heavy oil thermal recovery casing damage wells in Liaohe Oilfield,the types and causes of casing damage are preliminarily summarized and analyzed.Then the theoretical model of the temperature field and the stress field of the thermal recovery well are established,and the temperature field model is used to make an example calculation.The casing-cement ring-stratum model was established using ANSYS finite element software,and the effects of steam injection temperature,pressure,thermal insulation pipe parameters,casing parameters,steam stimulation period,and formation elastic modulus on the casing temperature stress were discussed.Influence,the mechanism of casing damage is analyzed,and the influence of different factors on the casing damage event is obtained.It is concluded that the main reason for casing damage is the thermal stress generated by steam injection,and finally the corresponding prevention measures are proposed for the thermal stress caused by casing damage.
