Pipe residual magnetism is due to the pipeline in the detection,maintenance,handling,under the influence of external magnetic field,magnetic force,the pipe longterm magnetic.This can cause magnetic partial blowing during welding,which prevents quick repair.At present,the solution of the residual magnetic problem is mainly done by inhibiting the magnetic field through the pipe port during welding,which does not solve the fundamental problem of pipe residual magnetism.It is therefore necessary to study the pipeline on-line demagnetization detection robot to demagnetization of the pipe,so that the magnetic field of the pipeline can reach the state of direct welding in the normal operating state.Based on the principle of permanent magnet reverse magnetization,this paper designs the on-line demagnetization detection robot system of oil and gas pipeline,which mainly includes exploring the mechanism of permanent magnet demagnetization,the design of robot structure,the design of the experimental bench and the experimental research.Using Maxwell to simulate the demagnetizing effect of pipes in different states,and to design the robot.Based on the DN100 X52 pipeline,the robot system is designed for substrates,guide wheels,magnet modules and sensor modules,and uses ADAMS to simulate the robot system.For pipe magnetization,demagnetization and experimental data recording,the experimental system is built with support frames,testing trolleys,data acquisition cards and LabVIEW-based upper-position machines.Finally,the experiment is carried out,and the results of the experiment are analyzed.The experiment of the on-line demagnetization detection robot system shows that the designed on-line demagnetization detection robot can meet the requirements,carry out motion demagnetization in the pipeline,and the experimental station can obtain the experimental data in real time.All the experimental groups have reached the effect of demagnetization,the effect of magnet height relative to magnet distance on demagnetization effect is more obvious,secondary demagnetization is an effective way to improve the demagnetization rate.Experiments show that the demagnetization method used in this paper can achieve demagnetization,with a demagnetization effect of 46%and Secondary demagnetization effect of 58%.This study has laid a certain foundation for the research of on-line demagnetization of oil and gas pipelines in China,but there are still some areas that need further improvement.
