Nowadays, high strength steel has been more and more used in building structures, bridge engineering and transmission engineering.High strength steel not only has excellent mechanical properties, but also the components designed by high strength steel can usually be designed as thin-walled components, which not only saves the consumption of non-renewable resources, but also leaves more space for the structure.Combined with the current situation of frequent earthquake and natural disasters in China, high strength steel structure, which is in line with the concept of green environmental protection, must be adopted in more areas of our country. The seismic performance of high strength steel components must be studied to obtain the corresponding design theory and design method,so as to promote the revision and improvement of relevant codes. At present, only the design provisions for components with strength grade not more than 460 MPa are stipulated in the domestic specifications, and there is no specific specification for components with Q690 grade. In this paper,Q690 high-strength steel high-web section member is selected for hysteretic performance test and finite element analysis. The design of high web makes members have higher bending stiffness. The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The hysteretic test of Q690 high strength steel I-section steel column with high webs was carried out,and the finite element model was analyzed by ABAQUS.The research shows that the I-section compression-bending member with high webs of Q690 high strength steel has good hysteretic performance and energy dissipation capacity, which meets the requirement of elastic-plastic inter-story drift angle of multi-story and high-rise steel structure in seismic design code.(2)The finite element simulation analysis of Q690 high strength steel high web box section bending member is carried out by ABAQUS.The results show that the hysteretic performance of this kind of specimen is good, and the energy consumption of the specimen is sufficient, which meets the requirement of elastic-plastic inter-story drift angle of multi-story and high-rise steel structure in seismic design code.(3)MATLAB was used to extract the skeleton curves and energy dissipation curves from the hysteretic curves of Q690 high-strength steel box-section compressionbending members with high webs. The comparative analysis showed that the increase of web width-thickness ratio, flange width-thickness ratio and axial compression ratio of specimens will reduce the hysteretic performance, energy dissipation capacity and ultimate horizontal bearing capacity of members.Filling concrete can improve the elastic stiffness, ultimate horizontal bearing capacity and energy dissipation performance.
