Titanium and its alloys have the characteristics of low density,high specific strength,excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.They are widely used in aviation,navigation,aerospace,petrochemical,medical and other fields,but the high price limits their application range.Aluminum alloy has low density.As the main lightweight structural material,it is the main material for manufacturing aircraft skins.It has obvious advantages over other alloys in terms of production technology and price,but its corrosion resistance is poor,and atmospheric corrosion is prone to reduce the use of aircraft life.Therefore,Therefore,it has an important research significance to combine the properties of titanium and aluminum effectively.In this paper,the explosive welding technique is used to prepare TA1/5052 composite plates with/without transition layer.The collision velocity and kinetic energy loss of each interface are calculated and the mechanism of the transition layer of TA1/5052 composite plate is analyzed.The interface morphology,microstructure,phase composition and atomic diffusion behavior of the composite plate before and after annealing were analyzed by metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscope,energy spectrometer,microhardness tester,X-ray diffractometer and electronic universal testing machine respectively.The mechanical properties,such as tensile,shear,bending,peeling and hardness were tested at the same time.The results show that when the process device with the transition layer pure aluminum1060 is used,the titanium/aluminum bonding interface is periodic and wavy.The wavelength is reduced from 321.78?m to 292.42?m,the wave height is increased from 43.24?m to 47.96?m,and the wavelength is reduced by 9.12%,the wave height increased by 9.84%.The area near the bonding interface has undergone plastic deformation.There is a fine-grained structure near the bonding interface on the TA1 side,melting blocks are formed in the vortex structure at the wave crest,and inter-element interdiffusion occurs at the bonding interface.The thickness of the diffusion layer at TA1/1060 interface is 5?m.The mechanical performance test shows that the tensile strength of the titanium/aluminum composite plate is 375.65MPa,the elongation is8.5%,the percentage reduction of area is 17.09%,and the interfacial shear strength is 77.38MPa,the peel strength is 30.64N/mm;and the hardness at the bonding interface of the composite plate is the largest,about 179.4HV0.1.Compared with the direct explosive welding of TA1/5052composite plate,the tensile strength is increased by 2.17%,the elongation is increased by14.12%,the reduction of area increases by 24.28%,the shear strength increases by 5.57%,the peel strength increases by 27%,and interface hardness decreases by 4.7%.The fracture mechanism of TA1/5052 composite plate is ductile fracture,and TA1/1060/5052 composite plate is mainly ductile fracture,supplemented by cleavage fracture.The titanium/aluminum composite plate is annealed at 350,400 and 450?for 1,3,6 and 9h.The results show that the intermetallic compound at the bonding interface before and after annealing is the same Ti Al3phase,but the thickness of the element interdiffusion layer becomes thicker after annealing.The largest shear strength of TA1/5052 composite plate is obtained after annealing at 350?for6h,which is 82.36MPa,11.27%higher than that of the explosive state composite plate;the largest peel strength is obtained after annealing at 350?for 3h,which is 41.17N/mm,45.68%higher than that of the explosive state composite plate.After TA1/1060/5052 composite plate is annealed at 400?for 6 hours,the interface shear strength and peel strength reach the largest level,which are 102.4MPa and 67.07N/mm,respectively,24.43%and 54.32%higher than that of the explosive state composite plate.Under the test conditions of this paper,it is determined that the annealing process of TA1/5052 composite plate should be 350?/3h,and the annealing process of TA1/1060/5052 composite plate should be 400?/6h.
