Vanadium-titanium magnetite is widely distributed in China,and many domestic iron and steel companies use their regional advantages to smelt vanadium-titanium magnetite.However,in the actual smelting process of blast furnaces,there are many urgent problems arising with the large amount of vanadium-titanium magnetite entering the furnace.In this study,through the experimental study on the effect of vanadium partitioning on vanadium yield with ore-coke mixed charging technic,the following conclusions are obtained.(1)With using full-vanadium-bearing comprehensive charge for blast furnace smelting,the suitable coke mixing rate is 50% considering the softening-melting-dripping characteristics and vanadium yield of the mixed burden.(2)With charging vanadium-bearing sinter for blast furnace smelting,only considering the improving the softening-melting-dripping characteristics of the mixed burden,the suitable ore coke mixing rate is 50%.The yield of V reaches the maximum value with a coke mixing rate of 40%.(3)With charging the vanadium-bearing pellets for blast furnace smelting,only considering the improving the softening-melting-dripping characteristics of mixed burden,the suitable ore coke mixing rate is 40%.The increase in the mixing rate of ore coke has a positive effect on the recovery of V in vanadium-containing pellets.When the mixing rate is 50%,the recovery of V reaches the maximum value.(4)At 1350?,the V content at the boundary of molten iron is significantly higher than that at the center.Under this condition,the limiting link for the increase of the V content in the pig iron is the diffusion of V from the slag into the molten iron.At 1400?,the formation of magnesium ferrite would promote the accumulation of V near the Fe solution,and the alkaline oxide Mg O could promote the migration of V into Fe.Figure 42;Table 19;Reference 79...
