| With the rapid development of science and technology and economy,as well as the continuous improvement of the low-carbon society construction mode,both the living environment and the consumer have put forward higher requirements for food packaging design.The design needs to meet the basic material needs,the consumer’s spiritual and cultural needs,and it also need to be environmentally friendly.In other words,contemporary food packaging design should not only be practical,but also contain added values such as emotion,culture and green,thus to conform to the development of contemporary society and aesthetic values.Every country will form its unique folk culture in its development process.China,with thousands of years of history and cultural connotations,has different kinds of traditional food,which is the accumulation of history and culture and folk wisdom of cultural heritage,the basis and starting point of modern food industry development,and one of the important developing trends in the future.However,some of today’s traditional food packaging focuses too much on gorgeous and elaborate visual effects,neither the design techniques nor visual symbols is connected with the traditional culture,and the unique national cultural connotation is not integrated and innovated well with contemporary design.Unreasonable consumption demand,the lack of low carbon awareness and other factors lead to food packaging design did not appear in the traditional food culture attribute,and indirectly caused a series of social,resource and environmental problems,such as global warming,soil erosion,etc.All these phenomenon show the balance between ecosystems and human beings is out of balance.Based on this,this paper will refer to a large number of literature,books and other relevant materials to understand and study the food green packaging design and the innovative design of traditional cultural visual symbols.Taking the green design concept as the main entry point,combining the aesthetic trend of contemporary consumers and the evolution of modern design paradigm,the paper focuses on how to realize the integration of green and traditional innovation in traditional food packaging design.At the same time,through summarizing current situation of food packaging design at home and abroad,this paper will conclude the means and problems of contemporary food packaging design,learn their advantages and avoid related problems,so as to further explore how traditional food green packaging design conforms to the needs of low-carbon society.In this way,it will achieve a symbiotic relationship with traditional national culture in food packaging design,thus to achieve the purpose of mutual unification in food packaging design between “low-carbon green” and “raditional innovation”.This paper will specifically combine the “3R1D” green design principles,together with some typical traditional cultural visual symbols,from a multi-angle and all-round perspective,through the multidisciplinary integration of visual aesthetics and structural aesthetics,to explore the sustainable development of green traditional food packaging.Finally,it will be applied in the practice design to form a more comprehensive theoretical research practice process,aiming to make the traditional food green packaging design meet the needs of low-carbon society,while highlighting its national characteristics. |
